This is the best HFH store ever. It is just packed with stuff. It's like every old-school hardware store I've ever been in smashed together to create this place. The guys on staff were a hoot to talk to. Check it out before you head to the box store.SK

The Ames Habitat store is awesome! They have such a great variety of items at really affordable prices. I found some awesome furniture items for a great price!The delivery guys were super friendly and careful with my stuff. They made the whole process a breeze. I also appreciated how reasonable the store is overall, and the fact that the staff are all really nice and helpful.If you're looking for a place to find some unique and affordable items for your home, definitely check out Habitat for Humanity of Central Iowa. It's a great place to shop and support a good cause at the same time.
