I don't think I've been to a Hy-Vee where no one said hi or good morning or may I help you. Until today. Everybody was just walking by each other like zombies. Customer service 101 you see a customer speak to him.

Went in to buy fish and some tall white male was being very rude towards me because he gave me the wrong type of fish I was asking for. Will not be returning to this location.

Nice supermarket, organized, fair prices. But there is only one egg brand, which is Hy-Vee, and it is quite expensive. All the male employees greet you cheerfully and say good morning with a smile. However, all the female employees seem to be angry.

Hy-Vee offers a decent variety of products, it's frustrating when they stop carrying a favorite item or brand, and the fresh produce available is hit or miss. The employees are helpful and courteous.

Hy Vee does have the best produce dept. in town but, in general, their prices, storewide, are high. They want to be a gas station, coffee shop, deli, diner, gourmet shop, florist, bank, and convenience store and have forgotten to be a good grocery store.

complete supermarket, at reasonable prices. They have good prices on beers and a wide variety of alcoholic beverages.
