I went to the check out with my items and told the cashier I had gotten a pair of jeans off the clearance rack but there wasn't a price tag on them. She told me they got put on the wrong rack and were actually full price. I wasn't upset, didn't fuss about it, but right away the manager heard and piped up, telling her to give them to me at the clearance price. That is a level of customer service you do not see anymore. Beyond impressed. Ames, IA.

I went in to find an outfit for an important job interview, and the person who helped me was beyond helpful and very kind. I had a lot of anxiety around finding the right fit for my body type, and they picked out the perfect piece I ended up feeling so excited in. 10/10 customer service, I’ll definitely be back!

Associates can't be bothered to greet you, wait on you, or open a dressing room. As long as you have no expectations, you will be fine to shop here

I thought that Maurice's catered more towards the big girl sizes but you go into the store in Ames and they have tons of really cute clothes for the small sizes but carry none for the big girls. And there is a much smaller section in the back of the store for the plus sizes. Come on, what happened to the Maurice's who helped us big girls look stylish!

I stopped in here awhile back. I haven't shopped here in years because a lot of the clothing while cheap to some is out of my price range. But my mom was shopping so I just popped in out of curiosity. I was treated very well by both the young women working there. I only ended up buying a clearance item which was cheaper than what I thought which was really cool. But really the majority of clothing to me seems kind of matronly or old fashioned. The jeans are cute but too expensive since you can't try clothes on right now. The girl gave me a rewards card so I might stop in sometime but the clothing really isn't edgy enough for meThe shirt I bought I bought mainly because it said something about your mom on it and my mom is my best friend. Its a cute little shop just maybe not for someone who likes concert tees and black nails. Just saying.

I love shopping at Maurice's. I wanted to buy some jeans but wasn't really sure what kind I wanted as they have so many different styles. The sales associate went above and beyond to help me pick the right jeans and I left as a happy customer.
