Eric does a great job keeping my top of line earing aids going. I work in dusty places, sweat alot, and sometimes the earing aids need to be sent in because of a problem.

Great experience and helpful with identifying the needs. The service afterwards has been excellent. Eric explains the results with clarity and humor. I recommend. Miracle-Ear as your first stop for addressing hearing lost.

Website says they’re open but closed @ 1145 am today. Not good service. Also you have to have an appointment and no walk ins. Not everything can be scheduled by appointment.

My wife and I inherited the full time care giving of my ageing Mother in Law; at, what turned out to be her final weeks here on this old sod. Mom was 91 with profound hearing loss. We discovered the hearing aid company she had contracted with was outwardly disappointed on the topic of battery management. Clearly; the staff had a "beef" as Mom would mow through a package of "free" batteries whenever she presumed to be having a problem with her aids. Turns out a problem did exist as one aid failed completely late on a Friday. Mom had a "frightening" weekend. We used our phones and paper/pen to console her, reassuring Mom that we'd be OK come Monday. On Monday morning I drove to several (more than one) clinics here locally only to find the hours posted on the entry doors were not the hours the representatives kept. At one location, no one came to their office while I left a message via phone and waited outside for 30 minutes. I made my way over to Miracle Ear on S.Duff (there is NO office on Main Street, Ames) and was greeted with a smile by Rebecca. She sympathized with us and said their Hearing Instrument Specialist, Steve Bennethum, would be in shortly. This gave me time to bring Mom in right away.Steve was gentle, thorough, and compassionate. We were able to get Mom some temporary aids within her very first examination. On the subsequent visits, to prepare the molds and final fitting/adjustments, the staff was attentive and just a delight to work with. Securing interest free financing was a huge assistance by Rebecca, as well.Mom is no longer with us. The Miracle Ear staff is now preparing her hearing aids by removing the personal mold so that anyone with hearing loss will be able to utilize the more generic construction. We, the family, are very pleased to recommend the local Ames Miracle Ear operation to you.
