Reiman Gardens, located on the Iowa State University campus, is a beautiful 17-acre destination with 26 outdoor garden areas and seasonal displays. Its highlights include the breathtaking Christina Reiman Butterfly Wing, holding a diverse collection of live butterflies, and the Hughes Conservatory with tropical plants. Visitors enjoy Sycamore Falls and the world's largest concrete gnome. The gardens offer a very enjoyable and relaxing place to enjoy nature with family and friends. Staff are welcoming and helpful. There is an admission fee. It is a wonderful, soulful place to spend time, especially for ISU students and alumni, featuring fantastic seasonal events like Winter Wonderland light displays.
