Id like to give a big shout out to the Casey's kitchen staff on 1st and Delaware Saturday night. Casey's was running a 40% off any size pizza, which was an amazing deal. Obviously allot of other Ankeny residents thoughts so and the poor kitchen staff was slammed with orders all night. Even with a fully staffed kitchen you can only cook so many pizzas at a time and things ran a little behind. It happens. But I thought the staff did an amazing job trying to keep up. Hustling all night. Everyone was calm and collected and was super kind to not only each other but people waiting. Thank you to how hard you all worked, our pizza and wings were hot and fresh, perfectly cooked and even better there were no dishes to clean.

There’s 3 to 5 certain staff members if they’re Working, the store moves very smoothly. If none of them are present it’s a disaster zone, as if none of the other staff knows up from down. Long line times, struggles to keep popular food items in the warmer. Store is quickly going down hill.

This particular Casey's location must be one of the originals. They do not have a kitchen here so no pizza or hot foods like almost all the other Casey's locations. The store seems to be pretty well stocked and not particularly busy despite its central location at the corner of State St and 1st in Ankeny. They have ample parking in their lot.

Taylor at the register was very nice! Helped multiple people at once and totally rocked it. I will definitely stop at this location on lunch breaks more often. She deserves a raise!

Showed up for online order and they didn’t do it. Told me they’ll get it in 5. So 15 minutes later they said they needed to make 5 more wings? I only ordered 10 plain! Took a few more minutes. Other customers were having issues, they were all told 6 minutes, hopefully it went better for them.

I have brought many Toco pizzas at your location. Today at approx 5:15 pm sunday 01/12/2024. I place my order. In person. I requested it to be rexta hot and done.
When the cook gave to me the box. It was warm on top. I traveled less then 15 mint to get home. When we opened the box. It was ice cold. Even the crust was cold. Like it came from the freezer. How can you cook food in cold temputures. This is a very risky health matter. The man wore glasses. With ball cap.your food lic is at risk

I mostly go here for pizza and it's always delicious even when they have a rush. The bathrooms are so clean you could eat off the floor, as I regularly do.
