Beautiful new building. The biggest Costco in the Midwest! The staff is incredible and friendly. Costco is definitely my favorite wholesale club!Side note: if you are considering Sam’s Club over Costco, know that Costco pays their new hires $18.50 and starting supervisors $31/hr (as of posting). Sam’s Club doesn’t even pay their supervisors $18.50. Support the company that supports their employees. Choose Costco!

Some of the fresh vegetables were brown and rotting. Everything else looked good. We have a few samples of food that were delicious.

I’m totally upset. Just leaving Cosco and was humiliated as I was leaving. I had a case of ramen noodles, and the door attendant didn’t believe it was sold that way. He counted every item in my cart and was pretty much accusing me of stealing. He held up a line of at least 10 other customers to go over to the sign up counter and asking them. Racism at its finest ???. I will never shop there again. Sam’s Club is the best!!!!

Had an easy bake night with delicious salmon and Mac n cheese from the quick dinner section. Never disappoints! And last but most importantly, the white nectarines from family tree farms, ARETHEE BEST fruit of the season, minus the wonderful mangosteen I found at Sam's Club only once so far!

This was the first time I have ever been to a Costco and I feel it was like a Menards but more. I went with my aunt and uncle who are both members. I feel as if I had gotten a great deal with many grocery items. I will try to be back in about a month which is probably when these items will be gone.

Scheduled an eye exam about two weeks in advance. Got the confirmation text a few days before and confirmed. Showed up on time and was told the optometrist was closed until further notice. Was never contacted at all. Very frustrating. Do not recommend. Wasted an hr of my time leaving work.

This store is great, large, clean, tons of options (wish for more) but enough you'll mostly get what you want. This store 5*But why the 3*? Because of the Costco policies.Fort Knox has less security letting people in and out.*Why does everyone get harassed at the front door for their membership card when you can't use the registers without it.*Also why do I need my receipt checked 2-3 times before I walk the 200ft to the door. With that many employees looking over it they could just checked us out themselves...*Lastly the sales rep by the phones/jewelry areaNO WE NOT INTERESTED so annoying

Huge, well spread out plenty of room through out. I have to use one of the scooters and this store is by far the friendliest to maneuver around! "Wide open spaces" Always changing items. What's not to love about Costco?!

Just wanted to take an opportunity and giving a review of your store. Never been in the salon before, but I will have to tell you like I told the girl at the checkout line. This store was incredible clean very very, and I mean very friendly people. I shop at the one at my local town in Colorado and hands-down that was the best Costco I’ve ever been in as an over the road truck drop, I will be stopping more at the store and getting my supplies. Keep up the good work and like I said your store employees made this trip very pleasurable.

This location just lost my business. I refuse to patron a company that does not value customer service. They were incredibly rude and disrespectful to my wife over something that was not her fault. It makes no sense. Plus, Sam’s Club is cheaper on most products anyway. It’s too bad, I had already spent several hundred dollars in less than one month during my short lived membership

I love Costco. The random markdowns are great 14 brats were $7.95 less than half the usual price. So I bought 3 packages for the freezer. It pays to look because prices change and items are discontinued and sold for less. The Ankeny Costco is huge but a well kept secret, not as busy as West Des Moines. Staff are all pleasant and helpful. The bakery has some wonderful items, 12 huge croissants for $5.99 and a lemon blueberry loaf that is so good. The savings on my antihistamine alone pay for my membership. So many reasons to shop COSTCO.

Customer service at the desk is wonderful. Worker at the customer service is disrespectful. My brother was ringing stuff up, and the worker came over and said, "Is this yours?" And before he could answer, he walks away with it. We yell at him that it's his, and he apologizes. Then, walking out the door, the man asks to see the receipt. My mom says oh she saw it and he says I just need to see it. Let's go, let's go." And to top it off, they don't accept anybody but Visa. We will just stick with Sam's Club.

Good place to buy lots of things. Gas is excellent that you can't find anywhere than here.

I forgot my VISA card when I went shopping at this store but had a Mastercard with me, but they wouldn't let me use it. They wanted me to drive 20 miles back to my house and 20 miles back to the store to pay for my shopping. Their prices are higher that Sam's Club anyway, so I am done with Costco. Sam's Club doesn't care what card you use. Also, if you try to cancel your Costco card by calling customer service you have to verify every bit of information they have on you in their computer. What happened to customer service? Doesn't the customer have any rights anymore? Costco treats you like it is a honor to shop in their store instead of treating like they want your business. They are just not worth it!

Larger than the West Des Moines store with roomy isles that can accommodate a large number of shoppers. Also, I have not encountered lines of vehicles attending gas pumps. Clean store with great employees.
