Great people to work with. Bought a Bronco out of state from them. Solomon and Greg are very knowledgeable. Highly recommend Dewey Ford!

Car fixed but they damaged a sentimental item of mine. Very ticked off because the only reason it’s broken is due to carelessness.

Dropped my Bronco Badlands off on July 25th, 2023. The engine had failed and needed replaced (6837 miles at that time). It was abrupt and luckily I was close to drop it off. Things started out iffy with the dealer to start, they heard the noise acknowledge something was really off, and told me to take my car home and come back tomorrow. Obviously I did not take this car home. Jump ahead two/three days later and yes the engine needed replaced. Fine, that's what warranties are for. They did get me a car, which was nice, but here's when the wheels fell off the rails. They had my Bronco for 5wks, very little communication, only when I emailed or called did I get an update. They also left the car dirty, there are pen marks and grease prints on the door inside, and they left no gas, literally I had 9miles left to empty on the vehicle to get to a gas station when I picked it up. The car was dropped off with over 3/4 tank, (I have gas receipt to prove date of gas purchase 7/25) they indicated that they drove the vehicle, my paperwork indicates 7 miles is all they drove to test a new engine in the vehicle? 7 miles did the engine even have time to fully perform? I asked for proof of new engine not a refurbished one, they gave me paper work with a generic Ford Engine Part Number and said that was my proof. I asked for explanation on what warranty is going to be, they said it would be indicated on paperwork, and there is nothing. I have reached back out for the Engine Serial number to verify its validity as a new one, and have requested in writing the warranty info. Hope they can at least do that much. Customer Service is not the strong suit here obviously.

Very poor service! waited 3 hours for a scheduled oil change service. I have purchased several vehicles from this dealership. That has ended because of their service Department. Not once did anyone approach me to tell me the status of my service. Come on, how long should a oil change take? This is not a jiffy lube of which I understand however 3 hours is unacceptable

My car has been in to body shop several times. Each time it's been in for them to do work, its come back with more damage. They rifled through my personal items in my center console, and I have several items missing now as well.

Took vehicle in for hail damage. Charged 100.00 for the estimate that was to be refundable if their service was used. Cashier could not figure out how to refund a credit card. Never received the refund, failed to remove all the dents. Wanted full payment before reviewing the work. Never again.Service: Body & Trim

PATHETIC is the word that comes to mind when giving a review for Dewey Ford Service Dept. My Ford Edge needed a factory warranty rear axle repair. When I stopped to make an appointment to have it fixed, a service advisor told me they were 2 weeks out to get it in the shop. After a 2 week wait, when I dropped the Edge off, he told me it was a 2 day process. First day was to diagnose the problem and order parts and the 2nd day was for doing the repair. After no call for 4 days, I called and the advisor told me it wasn't done and he "didn't like the way work orders were assigned to the technicians." That made me consider if they put "warranty" work off, for other cash vehicle repairs. I called 3 days later and was told my service advisor was no longer with the company and new parts had been ordered the day before. After 13 days, I finally got my Edge back, warranty repaired, no charge, but no explanation on the delay. I assume Ford won't pay their shop rate, so cash repairs are done first. 13 days for a 2 day repair... Unacceptable to say the very least.

Not sure which was worse the body work or the attitudes of the staff! We picked Dewey as they were a select service center with our insurance so figured the repair would be easy and stress free, well its far from any of that! After 3 times of having our vehicle in the collision center it's still not fixed correctly. The manager did all he could to talk down our insurance company while arguing with us that the damage was not done from the accident. He refused to even look at the damage still on the vehicle and told us they did not touch that part of the vehicle, but it was included on the estimate. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE if you want quality work and professional staff to work with!Service: Body & Trim

I recently purchased a used F-150 from Dewey Ford in Ankeny and I would NOT recommend buying a vehicle from Dewey. The customer service was awful and the sales manager was borderline disrespectful. Read through your agreemeent closely because they tried to add $500 to the cost that was previously negotiated. When I pointed it out, they said "oh, that's our bad we forgot to take it out". The salesman assured me my truck had been fully serviced only to find out later that the back tire has a slow leak, the windshield washer fluid was empty with the low light coming on, the truck was not cleaned well and had dust all over and the moonroof was foggy, and the oil life gauge shows oil life at 36%. The salesman would not text me back and when I finally spoke with him, he said the service department must have forgot to reset the oil gauge in the truck and they must have used a lot of windshield wiper fluid during test drives. The saleman promised to send me the service records and talk to his sales manager about what could be done with the tire but I still have not heard back from him. On top of that, there are issues with the 4 wheel drive that I now have to take to another Ford dealership to get fixed. This is all within the first 2-3 weeks of owning the truck. The salesman has been unresponsive and I shared these concerns back to Dewey when they sent me an email about getting my truck serviced there but still have not heard anything back. Terrible experience and will never purchase a vehicle from Dewey again. Dewey is more concerned about getting your money than having a good customer experience.

zero stars if possible. service department is incompetent and all their concern is about money. tell you your car is finally fixed and then it sitting in the driveway because it doesn't work today. y'all just replaced the defective motor and now it doesn't work. avoid buying and servicing your vehicles here. they will sell you messed up vehicles and act like they didn't.

We ordered a new vehicle from Dewey Ford for which we were required to leave a deposit. The vehicle arrived at the dealership 5 months later just at the time I was having major orthopedic surgery. I was told by our salesman that Dewey Ford would work with us and to not be concerned ,but when it came down to it the dealership threatened to sell the vehicle out from under us and not only would we lose a vehicle that was in high demand, we would lose our deposit. The day after arriving home from the hospital we had to travel 120 miles round trip to Dewey Ford to complete the purchase. After this horrible customer service experience with them I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. In dealing with the staff at Dewey we found that all 5 of the employees we had contact with outright lied to us and also in their response to the BBB complaint. The Dewey Ford motto, "We Treat You Better", couldn't be further from the truth.
