Great experience purchasing from Dewey Ford. The Sales Manager, Jake Higgins and salesman Hunter were incredible. Efficient, professional and made it easy and fun. This is hands down the best experience we’ve had yet. Thank you guys!

Visited the Quick Lube service department for an oil change and tire rotation. Staff was friendly and welcoming. They listened to my needs and answered all questions. Very impressed.

Very personable people at all ends of the organization. I ordered a Superduty truck and it took quite a while to get it. My salesman kept me informed on a regular basis and was just as happy to see my truck arrive as I was. These are good folks and when it's time, i'll be getting my next truck from Dewey too.

Purchased a 2021 Ford Edge our salesman Kevin was awesome, he greeted us as we pulled up and spent the whole afternoon helping us find the perfect vehicle. I wish I could say the same about their finance guy Dalton after informing him from the very beginning that we weren't interested in purchasing a warranty he was still very pushy and tried to pressure you into purchasing it had a very bad attitude and became condescending after I told him no for the 4th time almost walked out and derailed the whole sale but I didn't want 30 min of bad from one person to cancel out the whole afternoon of good work of another. I would highly recommend Kevin he got us the vehicle we wanted for the price we wanted and felt like I was dealing with a friend all day not a salesman and I would highly recommend dealing with someone besides Dalton when It comes to signing everything he was the only thing keeping this from a 5 star experience

I used to love Dewey, they took care of us every time during and after the sale with service. Unfortunately that has changed. I took my Mustang in for one of the Advantage Care oil/rotations. They asked if I had any remaining on my account, which I thought I did. Halfway through the change the adviser told me that I didn't have any left - not a big deal. A few minutes later the adviser came out again and informed me that I would have had two more changes, but they had expired. This was surprising to me, since it used to not be an issue, the car isn't driven that much and they honored it. Then the adviser told me that my past two Advantage Cares had expired, so I was wasting my money. Thankfully they let me know this, since the other advisers never mentioned it and were happy to take my money. Then the adviser suggested that I get single oil changes from now on. I appreciate that single adviser looking out. Then I got the bill for this single change. It was $160. Now on their website it says a synthetic oil change (up to 6 qts) is $80 with an addition charge for additional oil. Instead of charging me the $80 and 2 additional quarts @ $14 each, they charged me for 8 qts @ $14.I tried to contact Dewey directly and was met with no response. I just hope that this post helps other people avoid getting taken by them.

I began shopping for a truck in the spring of 2022. With the popularity of the Ford Maverick, I knew if I were to order one it would likely be sight unseen. Luke Belzer at Dewey Ford in Ankeny went out of his way to let us see a model they briefly had on the lot. While we couldn’t sit in it or test drive it, it was enough to help with my decision. Luke kept in touch the entire time before, during, and after the ordering process. He answered all of my questions promptly and patiently. Once I placed my order, it was a 12 month wait. During this time Luke kept me in the loop and assured me things would be taken care of. The day finally arrived (a few days early even!) and Luke was just as helpful throughout the process. I can say it was the first time dealing with a sales rep at a dealership where I felt listened to and treated with patience and understanding. I am incredibly pleased with my vehicle but most importantly with the service I received. I’m looking forward to owning it for many years to come and appreciate the service.

It was a reasonable wait with very friendly staff. Bundled prices were discussed in an efficient manner that was easy to understand. Heather was very kind!! The area I worked in while I waited was clean and spacious. Will definitely be coming back regularly.

Dropped my Bronco Badlands off on July 25th, 2023. The engine had failed and needed replaced (6837 miles at that time). It was abrupt and luckily I was close to drop it off. Things started out iffy with the dealer to start, they heard the noise acknowledge something was really off, and told me to take my car home and come back tomorrow. Obviously I did not take this car home. Jump ahead two/three days later and yes the engine needed replaced. Fine, that's what warranties are for. They did get me a car, which was nice, but here's when the wheels fell off the rails. They had my Bronco for 5wks, very little communication, only when I emailed or called did I get an update. They also left the car dirty, there are pen marks and grease prints on the door inside, and they left no gas, literally I had 9miles left to empty on the vehicle to get to a gas station when I picked it up. The car was dropped off with over 3/4 tank, (I have gas receipt to prove date of gas purchase 7/25) they indicated that they drove the vehicle, my paperwork indicates 7 miles is all they drove to test a new engine in the vehicle? 7 miles did the engine even have time to fully perform? I asked for proof of new engine not a refurbished one, they gave me paper work with a generic Ford Engine Part Number and said that was my proof. I asked for explanation on what warranty is going to be, they said it would be indicated on paperwork, and there is nothing. I have reached back out for the Engine Serial number to verify its validity as a new one, and have requested in writing the warranty info. Hope they can at least do that much. Customer Service is not the strong suit here obviously.

I recently purchased a 2023 F-150 from Dewey Ford and have been thoroughly satisfied with my experience so far. My sales advisor, Sue Wade, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She helped build out my truck to exact specifications, was attentive, extremely knowledgeable, timely about communications, and transparent about costs and delivery timing. Overall, she has gone above and beyond expectations to provide an unparalleled buying experience. I would highly recommend asking for her. I hope to have an equally stellar experience with the service team when I bring my truck in for service in the future.

Despite some of the negative reviews on here, I brought my truck into Dewey after I got backed into. Brannon helped with my claim and got things rolling for me right away. He called me and we scheduled a date for repair once the parts came in. I just picked up my vehicle this morning and it looks better than it did before it got rear ended. Thanks to Dewey Ford Team for doing a great job on my F-150. Would recommend!

Gregg, our sales guy was very communicative from the time we put a deposit down last September for our new Ford Maverick till its delivery this past weekend. Jake the financing manager was great and did a good job getting the deal done quickly. Thanks again for the 2023 Ford Maverick. Will continue to choose Dewey Ford in the future.

I contacted Dewey Ford to have safety recall work performed on my 2015 Lincoln. I was told I would need to schedule an appointment so they could inspect the vehicle and they would determine if the safety recall work would be done. If they determined the work needed done I would need to schedule a second appointment. The Safety Recall Notice 23S28 gave no indication the recall was up to the discretion of the dealer, so I contacted the Ford Customer Relationship Center number on the recall notice to confirm and was informed the service must be performed on all affected vehicles and was not subject to dealer discretion. I contacted a second dealer to get the work completed. This dealer ordered the part without inspecting my vehicle and scheduled a mobile repair that was completed within three business of my first contact with them. I had been a customer of Dewey Ford for over 10 years and purchased my last two vehicles from them, including the vehicle that was subject to this safety recall, only to get the run around when trying to get the work completed. I was treated much better by a dealership I had never before used. I will not go back to Dewey Ford for service or when it comes time to purchase a new vehicle.

Amber our sales rep went above and beyond the call of duty. She was attentive, gracious, knowledgeable, and very personable. We asked to look at two cars; she had them ready when we arrived. We couldn’t have asked for a better sales person. Everyone else we encountered from Dewey Ford was exceptionally pleasant and helpful.

Bought my truck from Dewey Ford. It was a good experience and the sales people, the manager and finance dept. was all very helpful, kind and cooperative. So, here we are 2 months+ from my initial review and I’m sorry to say that I would have to change my review of Dewey Ford. When I purchased my vehicle there was a part that needed to be ordered for that vehicle, and it was agreed upon at the purchase time. I have called a several times to see if the part was in, always a no. Now the salesperson,(Sue)won’t even return my calls. I kinda wonder if the part was even actually ordered. I find it hard that Ford does not have that part somewhere on the Continental US. Or at least help me understand why they can’t get it. A 2 minute phone conversation goes a long ways with me and customer service. A deal is a deal, I think Dewey Ford let a customer down. There motto is “We here you”, but I don’t think they do.Therefore I could not recommend this dealership

Run! Don't go here!I returned my truck to Dewey Ford after having an excellent experience before. But that was not how this experience could be described.I paid $4320.94 for several repairs that resulted in no change in my vehicles’ main complaint. After talking with John the Service Manager, he apparently decided to return my vehicle to my house unsolicited and thereby showing refusal towards doing the right thing and getting the misdiagnosed part taken care of.Dewey Ford has apparently decided to shift blame, instead of doing the right thing and taking care of the misdiagnosed part, at a fraction of the cost to them as what was to me.I have now filed a formal complaint to Ford Customer Service, against Dewey Ford. This establishment will never see my vehicle, or anyone I care about's vehicles again.
