Does anyone work here? In order to get help you have to walk into the packing area in the back…tried dropping off two pkgs here for shipping and both times they said “the label is wrong”. Went to ups store, what do you know, no issues. This store needs some serious quality control and basic help. Good luck everybody.

I went to buy some serbesas and they didn't want to sell me because I didn't have a driver's license. I showed them my passport and they didn't accept it. The people who are there are not good for working and they are causing the business to lose money. I am a customer there and this has never happened to me. Please do something about it.

I don't know whoever works mid shift on the weekends here, especially (11am)?Saturday. But I had called and had a question about the return policy, the man who answered t didn't even know what I was really talking about when I said I did not have the physical receipt and I only had the Dollar General app receipt, which has the reference number and any information you would need. I'll call later when someone who's a little bit more knowledgeable about their own occupation.
The store has multiple clearance spots, with good deals, organize and clean, that's why I'm confused on why they would hire someone with such a nasty attitude.

Unfriendly staff and cluttered store

The convenience is nice. The employees are mostly friendly. They run out of many basic items frequently and quickly. (Soda, cereal, bread, etc) The aisles are always clogged with carts full of merchadise to be shelved, making it difficult to navigate with a shopping cart. I have an insurance based OTC card that almost no employees seem to know how to utilize. This is unique to this location, from my experience.

This location is a joke. Management obviously doesn't know how to do their job as, there is never enough employees in store, The store is dirty and unorganized, product is constantly left in the walkways in the way of customers, I highly doubt this store would pass a safety inspection by the ankeny fire Marshall. Should just close it down at this point.

The Johnson location is neat and staff is friendly. I highly recommend you go to that location then this one. ANKENY location is a disaster! Stock carts everywhere and staff has no knowledge of anything. Staff stressed and it shows. Might as well close this location.

People be really careful there a lady on the register the will charge you more always check your receipt she almost charge 30 dollars more to my wife

Needed 4 things...only had 1 item.... so many empty shelf spaces. This store is a complete mess. Carts,merchandise in every aisle. Actually had a corp person call me regarding these same issues...he claimed the store was going to be remodeled within a week...that was atleast 2 months ago. I can not believe that this store is still open! Guess it's Amazon for me.
