Be prepared to stand in line for half an hour every single time you come. It doesn’t matter the time of day either. The line will be to the door. But it is america and we all need our drugs don’t we?

I am absolutely disgusted by the service I received today. The worker at the pharmacy would not send my medicine out through the tube claiming there was too much to fit. She could have sent two bags and been fine, right? Nope. She brings out all of these individual medications in their plastic bags instead of putting them together in a big bag like everyone else typically does. She brought them to my car in the drive through and began yelling at me that next time I need to come inside. I told her that my child has Covid so I went through the drive through. She again began yelling that how was she supposed to know that when none of this medicine is for Covid. I’m sorry, is there a new medication for one year olds with Covid? Don’t think so… and we had nebulizers sooo? Not that it matters or excuses her behavior. I then asked what her name was and she said Susan. I called the pharmacy to speak with a manager and they said there was nobody who worked there with that name and that Michelle is the name of the person who brought out the meds. Not only was she extremely rude, but not knowledgeable about medications, a liar and disrespectful. Absolutely disgusting!

Always very long wait. No longer getting texts about when meds are ready, even after bringing this up last two visits.Last straw was meds were returned before I could pick up and was told to wait 15 mins for new refill which turned into an hour.Will be switching pharmacies.

The pharmacy is always rude to me every time I call them on the phone, talks over me, and treat me like I don’t know what I’m talking about. I only go here because I have to for insurance otherwise I would go elsewhere.The same thing happened the last time I called to have a prescription filled. She tried to tell me that I had to wait to get it filled, when the doctor clearly increased the dose and sent over a new prescription, and what do you know I was right. Then they filled it. Made me wait several days as they were not going to fill it, unless I called and told them to.Today I was being questioned why I thought insurance would cover it at hyvee and not at Walgreens. I mistakenly had it sent to Walgreens and needed to transfer it to hyvee due to insurance contracts. The tone in their voice really upset me.I’m tired of being treated as if I’m unintelligent and don’t know what I’m talking about. I’m tired of the pharmacy person that answers the phone giving me an attitude. I’m tired of feeling like an inconvenience. I agree with the other reviews on here about them being rude. Completely unprofessional. It’s an absolute pain every time I have to call and sort out and issue. I will switch to the other hyvee from now on, though I don’t have faith in it being much better.And I swear DO NOT reply back with your basic copy and pasted reply of “can you please give us a call or email to management and sort out this issue”, that you reply to on every single other negative review.You couldn’t even edit the name of the other recent review of 2 weeks ago and straight copy and pasted “Hello Name”. That is sad. That further proves the lack of care, and are only doing that for show. no I’m done calling this place I’m sick of it 10-4-2023 at 4:45pm

Ordered a champagne birthday cake from them. The cake was all frosting and hardly any cake. It tasted nothing like the champagne cake I use to order. It was super dry and thin topped off with super sweet frosting. I will never order a cake from them again!

My prescriptions are NEVER ready. Ever. Even when I call to ask if they are and am told yes. I called earlier today to see if they were ready and they said yes - showed up, she said only one was and the other will be in their shipment tomorrow. I told her I’m completely out and I need it. Annoyed, she agreed to fill it but told me it was inconvenient because they’re closing soon. We’re switching to Madicap - we have great service there and prescriptions are always ready same day, less than 30 min usually if the doctor has just sent it over.

I wish I could give this location a negative review every time I come here. It takes 30-45 minutes every single time, even if a text is received that the medication is ready. I don’t know what the issue is but it is like this Every. Single. Time.

I know times are tough as far as finding workers. But good lord. I go to Hy-Vee for two things - the meat and deli counter. That kid they recently hired for the meat counter reminds me of Jeff Spiccoli from Fast Times at Ridgemont High. "I need three New York Strips." The kid: "uhhhh, what?? Ummm, uhhh..." Another new kid in that department is incredibly rude. The one older gentleman who's worked there for a while is always who I'm hoping is there. I ask for a pound of smoked turkey at the deli. Two of the guys who work there know me and know exactly what I want. Always a pleasure. The two new kids - one spent nearly two minutes trying to put the meat inside the bag before the other guy had to come help him. The other new kid, instead of placing the wax paper on the scale, weighing the meat, then placing it in the bag, just grabs the meat and places it directly in the bag. And god forbid, don't ask them about the specials advertised upfront or in coupons. That will confuse them beyond repair. Fareway is a lot further away. But it's getting to the point that, for my own sanity, I may have to take the longer drive.

The drive up was closed and my husband who desperately needed a prescription for a foot issue, was not up to parking and walking in for it. I said call them and he did and they had no problem bringing out to him. Thanks Hy-Vee!

Very long wait almost every time I go. I never get any kind of communication to tell me when my prescriptions are ready, especially frustrating since many times they are not. It doesn't seem like they understand what an inconvenience. It is to wait an incredibly long line just to find out that they don't have your medications. Any other pharmacy I have used lets you know when your medications are ready or lets you know when there is an issue with your medications that may cause a delay. Hy-Vee does neither of these things which results in huge inconveniences.

Can't bring myself to give more than one star due to the lack of professionalism, in addition to the attitude of the pharmacy tech that I encountered. She was something else, to say the least. This was my first interaction with this pharmacy and my my last. If your preference is kindness, this is not where you find it.

We chose to check out in a lane that had a first day cashier. The girl bagging the groceries was very helpful to him and us. He accidentally double charged us and the girl took it upon herself to get the approval from management to get it deducted and get us going to keep the line moving!!! Very impressed!! Thank you to the two working isle 5 today!! You are what Hy-Vee is supposed to be!!!
