I thoroughly liked Pet Smart and their grooming operation. I set up my Golden Retriever for a bath, haircut, and nail polishing, and I believe they did a great job and were finished with everything in only a little over two hours. The pricing was a little high but probably reasonable, and this was my first time so still learning the pricing. Parking was ample and easy. Customer service was fantastic. I highly recommend the Ankeny location of Walmart and will be back.

Great! I took my dog to the groomers there like always. It took a little longer than I expected but it was Thanksgiving weekend, so I figured they were busy. They were super nice and friendly. My dog never comes back stressed out or overwhelmed. Which makes me Happy! Highly Recommended!

The only place near me that carries Eukanuba for my dogs. The staff is helpful and friendly. The salon does a good job with my nervous bulldog Ivy.

I had a terrible experience at PetSmart. I arrived for a grooming appointment at 1:30 pm with all the documentation requested online, including the rabies vaccine. However, I was informed that I also needed to provide proof of distemper, which was never mentioned as a requirement when booking the appointment. Luckily I was able to find it on an old email from our vet!
I specifically asked the groomer if I could bring my dog back once she was ready to avoid leaving her shivering in a kennel, as it was her first-ever grooming session. She assured me that since my dog was small, she would get to her first. Yet, when I returned 3 hours later, I was shocked to find out that my dog had only been bathed and was still waiting for a proper groom. The groomer, Antoinette, was working on another dog and said it would be another 20 minutes to “rush through” my dog’s groom.
I can't understand why I would pay over $70 for this kind of service. It was a disappointing experience, and I won’t be returning. I definitely don’t recommend Antoinette if you want a positive experience for your fur babies.

If I could leave an absolutely trash review I would. I have never had an issue at any other pet-smart grooming. But my experience here was the worst. Not only did I have to reschedule apon arrival 4 different times because of staff calling in or whatever excuses they had to not follow through with my appointment , the final time I arrived I was told I need my documents in hand however have never needed them in hand before and are literally available on my account. Talk about crappy customer service, crappy punctuality, and I still haven’t gotten my pet groomed after several weeks of re-scheduling. Will never be coming back, and will take my loyal business to actual professionals.
