What a beautiful little store. I would say it's mostly a woman's boutique but they do have some mens and baby clothes. It has a really nice layout and atmosphere and the owner was there and really friendly. Make a stop here you won't regret it. Shop local.

Will not be returning. Lady working took about 5 min until she realized me and another lady (came in shortly after) were in the store. Only got a pair of shoes because it’s something I’ve been looking for awhile - otherwise I would not have purchased anything. When checking out zero small talk/conversation and felt less than appreciated for purchasing my item. Will not be recommending this place to anyone.

I visited the Purple Poppy Boutique in Ankeny, IA. It is a wonderful place to purchase unique items for your wardrobe. The owner was very friendly and helpful. A very pleasant experience and I will be returning! A wonderful array of clothes for women, men and children with extra accessories that are one of a kind. Anxious to go back to be able to shop when I have more time. Definitely my new favorite boutique.

Great customer service, they had a nice selection of plus sizes clothing options and I loved chatting with the store owners. Relationship building with customers is the best part of small businesses and I can tell these guys are doing it! Will be back again and will tell my teacher friends!

The Purple Poppy Boutique in Ankeny is such a great little store! so much to see. They have women's, men's and baby/toddler clothing. There's a great selection from casual to dressy with a wide range of prices and sizes. so many cute things. The selection of accessories including jewelry, hats, shoes, bags and more is quite impressive. They sell Brighton jewelry as well. They have some good sales and so much to look at. customer service is excellent and I never leave disappointed or empty handed!

One of the best stores in Ankeny! Lea and her team to an awesome job to accommodate everyone that walks in. The vibe is always so positive and upbeat! It's definitely a place to stop every time you are in The District.
