My F250 had body damage to the passenger side of the cab, wheel and box after they drove it through their carwash! They did finally get it in to repair it. I had to drive from Waterloo to Ankeny, drop off the truck for repairs, had a rental to drive back to Waterloo, then waited 9 days, and back to Ankeny to pick it up. No compensation for my time or fuel costs!

Quick lane and Valet customer service is great and the oil change package with tire rotations is a good deal.However, every time my truck is serviced I have to drain 1/4-3/4 qt of oil to get a proper reading at or below the dipstick “max” indicator when following the owners manual instructions to warm the engine, then shut off and wait 15mins to read the dipstick.I suspect that oil is added, a leak check is performed by running the engine for a short time, and then checking dipstick for fill level. With auto start/stop on most newer engines, oil is retained in the top end to maintain lubrication over start/stop cycles and does not drain to the pan quickly. Therefore the oil level may appear “low” and additional oil is mistakenly added resulting in an overfill.I’ve spent more time draining and checking oil after the service that I will go back to doing it myself and just pay for the tire rotations when needed.Service: Oil change

I had scheduled a couple recall services to be done in their shop for our 2016 Ford Fusion. I got a call stating that a mobile service was available and if I would like to use it. Of course, anything to save me a trip! Lester and Tony arrived right on time and were great to work with and were done within an hour. If you can use this service, do so.

Poor service. Had the vehicle over 8 hours for oil change and alignment. Was to deliver vehicle to home but when I followed up 8+ hours to see if work done, there was no service people available to take the call, left message. Drove to dealership received voice message saying vehicle done, sorry no one available to deliver vehicle to home today but could tomorrow. Third visit for oil change with unacceptable turn around time . Last time they couldn’t even find my vehicle in the lot when I went to pick it up. Giving one star is generous!Service: Oil change

Took nearly two weeks to do an afternoon's worth of work. Ridiculously inflated price tag. I knew I'd be paying more taking it to a dealership, but thought it would at least be speedy service. Wrong! One of the problems I needed corrected (backup camera) was not touched because the said there was no problem with it. Five minutes after leaving the lot it stopped working again. I would have taken it back, but I didn't want them keeping my truck for ANOTHER two weeks. Instead, I will take it somewhere where they actually know what they're doing. Also, while my truck was being worked on, a salesperson called me telling me I should trade my truck in and buy one of theirs AFTER I pay to get it fixed. I bought a vehicle from Dewey Ford years ago, and I will never do it again. Nor will I ever have a vehicle repaired there. Terrible, poorly run establishment.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Couldn’t have been happier with the service department! I bought my car from a Chevy dealer, and when my dash lit up like a Christmas tree with all sorts of lights and warnings, they weren’t able to diagnose it. I called my regular Ford dealer and they told me it wasn’t that big of a deal and could wait a couple weeks. After requesting an earlier appointment because things were not working correctly in my vehicle, they said it was ok, I could keep driving. I knew something wasn’t right. Called Dewey and they got me in the next day! They listened and were very understanding of my concerns. Amos was very great at communicating everything from how long it would take to what was wrong. Will definitely be coming back! Thank you!

The quality of work & speed that they replaced my airbag was excellent. Juan communicated everything to me. At first I was thrown off from your calling center in Texas (not knowing it was Texas) when she denied that they would come to my house & fix it. It was very confusing to me but I’m happy the way it all turned out. It’s an excellent service you provide to the community.

We are here from Arizona. Our map component went out on the way here. The service department was able to get us right in for diagnostic test. Because a loaner wasn't available, we rented a car. When it was determined we needed a very expensive part, I asked Gina if there was any way they could help us out with a loaner. She worked magic with Juan and we were able to borrow a very nice new truck. It's now on my wish list. Gina kept on top of the part, checking on it daily and letting us know. 4 hours away from home and had a flat tire on my 2021 Explorer. Called roadside assistance who was having my car taken to Dewey Ford. I Called Dewey Ford to let them know my car was coming to dealership for repair. Tim S was the service writer I first spoke with who did an excellent job of getting me in ASAP for repair. I had a 9am appointment and I had my car there at 8:51am. I sat for over 4+ hours before someone even acknowledged me. It was about 5 hours before my service tech checked in with me. At that point he informed me after 5 hours that my car was just then being looked at and it would then be another hour and a half to fix the issue. He also claimed that he had no idea I was sitting there waiting even though it was documented in my appointment request.Aside from the above, I had a recall item I needed fixed and I was told they would have no issues fixing that today when I was dropping off my car. After being at the dealership for 6 hours, I realized on my way home that they didn't fix the recalled issue.My wife called the dealership when she got home and talked to a rep and that rep said she would have a supervisor call us back, but that never happened.We will never buy another car from Dewey Ford simply due to their service department. It's very clear and obvious that due to not being a long time loyal customer of multiple vehicles, my time is not valued.

Tim was very professional, kind, and hardworking. They did have my car for two weeks, but that's not their fault. They had issues with a part coming in and another part was bent. They resolved those issues instantly. He was very thankful for me being patient and understanding. They were able to give me some sort of discount. Called them on my way from Texas to Wisconsin. Told them that I just got my truck back from having all the internal parts replaced for the second time this year and that it’s been in the shop two months. I asked if they could get me in today to get the rear differential fluid drained and refilled due to the 500 mile break-in process they got me in at the time they told me to be there and got it done. Definitely a stand up group of folks I will definitely visit them again for future maintenance services

My vehicle had two recalls and unfortunately I wasn’t able to get it to the shop soon enough before one of the recalls caused my car to completely break down. I had it towed to Dewey Ford. Originally they told me my car wouldn’t be fixed for three days but then they called me the very next day and it was done! Everyone I spoke to on the phone was pleasant and my entire experience was great! They even delivered my car to my workplace. I would highly recommend.

I used the valet service for my standard 5k service today. It was THE BEST experience! My car was picked up and dropped back off at my home by very pleasant individuals. During the actual service, I received text messages and a video showing my car and the results of the various inspections that were done, super cool! Easy communication and professional service!
