Every single time I pick up my medication (either in store or drive thru), there is such a long line and one person working. It takes on average 20-45 minutes. It’s a nightmare, this needs to be fixed.

April was absolutely rude and disrespectful to my husband and i. She had asked me for help outside of work with installing a dash cam for her. She told me she'd be at work and I brought my tools to install it in her car for her and she had promised me she was going to be at work and completely lied to me. She texted me calling me a lier and cussing me out. Will definitely be avoiding this walgreens from now on. I don't like going to my local walgreens just to be belittled and talked down on. If I could give her 0 stars I would.

Slow drive thru. Indifferent and poorly trained employees. No one in the store seems to actually know anything about pharmaceuticals or anything related to them. They apparently send prescriptions through the mail with no tracking information. So, I may or may not receive my wife's prescriptions. I can't trust these people, that's pathetic.

New dad here, (literally our daughter got out of the hospital yesterday) I went in to this Walgreens today to pick up an order my wife put in. I was waking around making sure we didn't need anything else, when I overhead a conversation being said very loud across 2 eiles between 2 staff, one with purple hair and an older lady, about how people who do pickup orders are lazy and the customers are entitled and they aren't staffed to do these orders and the people who are always making pickup orders should stop being lazy and just come in. I was appalled by this, being a new father when my only concern is getting what my daughter needs.
If this is the mindset of Walgreens on how they view customers I will be taking my business to places that are more friendly and don't complain about me giving them my money.

A military id is valid to purchase alcohol, or tobacco products, birthdate or not, At 52 yrs old that shouldn't even be a question. A employee at your N Ankeny store needs some retraining, maybe watch the alcohol and tobacco certification, & test again. It's pretty sad on Walgreens part that they hire people that are so poorly educated, and or have no customer service skills what so ever. Will be purchasing all further meds, ect some place else. Sad so sad 😥

BAD NEWS FOLKS.
I quit going here 3-6 months ago because of the poor service with getting the scripts.
NOW-My brother is being taken care of by hospice personnel. Three maybe four times they have delayed by just short of a week getting his scripts filled. Excuse after Excuse is pathetic when an individual is DYING. I'm checking into possible legal action!!!!

Came in needing to clean up a mess very late into the night. Every other place was closed but this was our saving grace. Employees worked as a team to find the correct cleaning supplies we needed and made us feel very welcome there. Has a huge selection of items compared to other Walgreens. Plus even though it was not my ID, I still want to recognize a team member was making an active effort to return misplaced items to customers. Checking to see if we matched the card.

My 5 stars go directly to Bradley the cashier! My daughter did not have enough money today to buy both her toys I told her she had to chose and with out any hesitation Bradley tells her he is going to buy the other toy so she could have both. He has been super friendly everytime we have come in to the store. Walgreens give this guy a high five and a rise!

The worst of the worst, a person in the hallway who arranges merchandise told me that she was there to organize merchandise, not to look for medications for clients today, 3/25 at 2:54 pm, she has some bows in her hair. People like that only wish her bad luck. And she is a poor woman, that's why she spent her whole life fixing shelves.

Richard hung up on me during my interaction with him. He continually interrupted me and when I asked to speak and explain what I was trying to tell him. He hung up on me! So I professional. No wonder Walgreens is rated the worse pharmacy in Ankeny

I have used this pharmacy since 2016 and it has been going down hill since 2022 ! The techs and pharmacist are some of the most disgusting and disrespectful people ever! I would never recommend this place to anyone ! Their attitudes are so harsh for no reason it’s so sad how they treat their customers ! They should be ashamed of their behavior ! They talk so loud about other customers that us other customers can here them and I watched as one tech hung up on a customer because he didn’t wanna deal with her and they laughed about it and it was disgusting ! I would not recommend you go there .

I’ve never had a pharmacy completely lose a prescription before — until today. Despite receiving a text that it was delayed due to being out of stock (and they were ordering more), seeing that it was cancelled on my account, and confirmation from my doctor that it was sent over, they had no record of it in their system. While my doctor was willing to send it again, the fact that it was lost at all is highly concerning, considering that records clearly exist showing that it existed.I don’t like leaving bad reviews unless something is exceptionally wrong. Mistakes happen, I get it. But bad record keeping for something as important and controlled as pharmaceuticals could cost someone a lot more than a minor inconvenience.
