“Always good service. They tell you what you need to know and where you should go instead of running all over the lake guessing. Also have the best bait in the area as well as any fishing supplies you will need a well as find and ammo. It's worth a drive to get what you need.”
“We just returned from a week at Sandy Beach Retreat on Big Spirit Lake. The people at Okoboji Vacation Company were polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our reservation process. Check in/check out was effortless and the easiest we've ever experienced. We had ten adults and four children and we had plenty of space. The property was clean and exremely well stocked. We had a few hours of rain a couple of days but there was plenty of indoor space for games, ping pong, reading, and conversation. We enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, boating, tubing, floating, and fishing off the dock. We enjoyed the great dock, deck, and fire ring. We're making reservations for Sandy Beach Retreat through Okoboji Vacation Company for summer of 2026! This is a perfect lake retreat!”

“My only complaint is that there wasn't a light above the bathroom sink (the sink was separate from the shower and toilet). In order to see what you were doing, you had to turn the light on in the bathroom. It just didn't offer enough light. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay - clean, comfortable, and very friendly staff!”
“Had a slight problem with the A/C icing up on a really hot humid day. We called and they were at our cabin in five minutes to get it fixed. Friendly people and a fun place to stay.”

“My experience was not with the Inn, but the restaurant in the hotel. Cazarellis offers wonderful food. It relocated to The Inn not long ago. We visit Okoboji 1-2 times a year. We got Cazarelli's new address made our visit. Delicious and affordable most supper meals start at $25 and up. Good to see that this restaurant found a new home and are thriving!”
