I will not support any pet store that supports backyard breeders. This store was fantastic and a first go-to before it switched owners. A further fact, reputable breeders do not sell to pet stores. It goes against the breeder code of ethics.

These people lie about their animals because all they care about is money. They knew an animal was pregnant, was asked about it and they denied it when it was pretty obvious. They lie about the ages of their animals ages, have most animals in enclosures/ cages that are entirely way too small. They have live crickets in with reptiles which will bite the reptiles, they are trying to sell animals that are way too young, have too many animals in some cages/bins to where some of them have to lay on top of each other because there is no room. They are breeding animals that are dangerous to breed as it’s deadly.

I LOVE this place, best place to get a pet and they are well taken care of and loved. It's obvious the owners and workers care about their animals. They carry everything you could need, and are open and honest about how to proceed with care.

Has always been great! Continues to be great under new ownership as far as I have seen! Animals and fish all look healthy and well cared for!

The guy that helped us today was very friendly and extremely helpful! He explained to us the different types of fish and which ones would be the best for our tank. I needed a lid for my fish tank and he went and looked for one for us and found one and it works perfectly! I’m glad I found this place! We will definitely be back!

Loved shopping at the Fish Store in Atlantic Iowa. Lucky to have such a place so close to home that has such a wide variety of fish, supplies and prices.

Beautiful fish, over priced though. I'm for supporting local businesses, but his prices make it to hard for me. Plus it's a hour away from me and I get to other big cities for other business so I can hit the big name pet stores when I'm already in their location
