My partner and our 3yo and 6yo stayed two nights in the Blue Room. The Blue Room had a comfortable queen bed, private bathroom, TV, toiletries, and bottled water. Calling for information and making reservations was super easy and accommodating. Lynne is the Inn keeper and the best host we've had at a bed and breakfast. The warm fresh blueberry muffins and cinnamon rolls were so cozy. There is so much history and beautiful Victorian decor to appreciate as well. There is a small playground across the street, a gas station one block away and a grocery store (Food Pride) about 7 miles east (10 minute drive). We feel like we found a gem that we will be sure to include in our next plans through Iowa.

This is an adorable old house. Everywhere you look there is something beautiful. Keep in mind that because it's a 1899 house some of the fixtures are not what you would expect at a modern hotel. The bathrooms are very small, there are not convenient cell phone chargers next to the bed. But if you wanted the Best Western go to a motel.Food allergies were graciously accommodated at breakfast. Our 3 young children were welcomed.

Lynne is very friendly, gave us a tour while explaining the history of the house. She was very accommodating when it was going to rain and opened up a place in the shed for our motorcycle. Food was great and made to order. We will definitely go back!!

My family very much enjoyed our stay at The Inn. One of the great reasons to stay at Inns like this is for the personal greeting of the owners and the history and stories they have to share. My family very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
