Bought a door at almost $2000– our house is old and custom built. Home Depot ordered the WRONG SIZE. They had contractors come out and measure, they had accurate information, and someone at Home Depot mistyped the info. So their solution was to ALTER MY HOME. This is insane. Why would I shave off inches from my entryway for your error? My house has been solidly built for 100 years, not to be changed for some guy who doesn’t know how to type. The communication was terrible— the contractors had to tell me of the mistake, and then Home Depot decided to follow up without fully communicating to me of altering my home. I want to cry. Not only were they horribly nonchalant about it, but they offered nothing to me as any sort of compensation for their error. Instead, there was finger-pointing at other employees, and I was totally dismissed. The product didn’t make any mistake, and I enjoyed improving my home with them— but their extremely poor judgement and lack of customer care just killed it. Just drive up the street to Lowe’s. Please.

For me being a business owner, I will say this is the worst place and customer service I’ve ever experience, first I bought snow blower and it wasn’t working, I went through hell after 6 months calling every phone number from bottom the the head, they finally gave me a store credit Now I came back and bought another snow blower because of the store credit and I asked them to assembled it for me to be sure it works before taking it out from the store, they told me someone will call me waited over 2 weeks no call nothing Came back to the store with ma receipt then they told me they think I took the snow blower home so now they have to check all security cameras to make sure I didn’t take the snow blower home and coming for another before they can make a decision HOME DEPOT BETTENDORF IA ARE YOU SERIOUS, SO ITS LIKE I DONT HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN TO GO TO A STORE TRYING TO STEAL A SNOW BLOWER WOOOOOW THIS IS A VERY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER????????????????????????????

We purchased all new kitchen appliances online, the process was so simple, delivery and installation was great! The delivery staff was extremely professional, intelligent, and everything was done in a timely manner. I highly recommend!

Went to purchase a grill. All of the grills were already assembled. So, they said they would remove the sides so that it would fit into my suv. After removing one side, they brought it to my suv. I said I did not think it would fit. They lifted it up in an attempt to put it in. Again, I stated it wasn’t going to fit. They crammed it in anyway, causing this damage shown in the photos. Thank you for that.

This is honestly the worst customer service I have ever had and it came from a manager. She has now cost the company to lose our business as we will be shopping else where from now on! If this is the kind of customer service you receive to become a manager I think you need to reevaluate your training program.

I don’t even know where to start. We walked in and had to ask 3 different employees to find out where the contractors desk was. There was a couple in front of us, No big deal. I can wait my turn. They were laughing and cracking jokes both the customer and the gentleman working the counter. After they were done and we were up next. This gentleman’s demeanor completely changed. Husband was just at store. Employees not wearing masks. No precautions being taken for Covid-19. Will not be returning to this store as it puts their employees and customers at risk.

Went for a weekend out the house and now that they're doing this quarantine thing, me and my mom walked to the entrance and the guy outside told us to go back in line... so we walked around this gate thing but he was letting others enter without letting them go in line!! Then after shopping around, we went out the wrong door, through the entrance , and we were already outside the store and he told us to go back Inside , and head to the exit door to the other side of the store!!! I get they're taking precautions, but don't be rude and have an attitude about it. Unprofessional! Overall, shopping there usually is great...

We purchased the appliance package a week before thanksgiving we were not optimistic of getting them before the holidays- as a couple of competitors of this company told us to many deliveries not possible- but Home Depot assured us they could have delivery the Monday before t-day - 3000 dollars later we walk out and can't believe our good luck - next day robo call tells us can't make delivery til dec 13 - after several hours on phone they assured us we 'd have them Wednesday- long story shortI hosted a thanksgiving dinner with all my food being held in ice coolers on deck - it's now Sat and I have no idea where my appliances are - canceling my order - can't trust anything they say

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I bought a refrigerator two years ago, both the compressor and fan went out. I bought the extended warranty thinking this would save me a lot of hassle...WRONG. I am currently a full week without a refrigerator, been on the phone ten times with the worst customer service through the warranty that I have ever experienced and I am still not done with this ordeal.

They have many many great products for the home. Helpful associates. very busy and active. Could be a bit cleaner but overall a great place to shop!
