Every time I have brought my car here the service is top notch! Josh makes the whole process so easy from scheduling to pick up. Also the communication throughout the whole process is always above and beyond. I will never take my car anywhere else!

We were in from out of town and our battery was dead. We were a walk in and Josh was able to figure out a way to replace the battery without having to leave the car and he had our battery in stock. In and out in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend. Thanks Josh!

Dropped my truck off for an oil change while I was nearby for some other appointments. Was $50 more than any other oil change I've ever had done and they didn't do the "complimentary tire rotation"

My brakes AND tail light warnings went off within two days. Took it to QC Auto at 18th & 53rd in Bettendorf. They did a spot-check and said just the rear brakes right now (and obviously the tail light bc it was out), but didn't try to talk me in to the front brakes that have a bit more life. Or anything else. They fixed rear brakes as promised for the price quoted. AND changed my tail lights for free bc I had bought the bulbs and they were in my car! Funny bonus - I went to get gas after I picked it up and when I got back in the car it smelled GOOD (like there was some air freshener in there or something) instead of like grease! Going back there for sure!

I will never take my car back to them, never communicated with me after my vehicle was brought in for the third time after then looked over my vehicle the second time and refused to fix what I ask them and made up excuses and blaming it on something else and I been told by many people that it was wiring issue so we will see

Everything seemed smooth at first, and the main guy was great. However, post-service, my car started making a new loud noise when turning, hinting at an either new and/or worsened axle issue. After bringing it back in, they proposed several hundred dollars more for a new axle, labor, and another $100+ wheel alignment (after they just charge me for one). Given the initial positive interaction, this turn of events was pretty disappointing and felt unacceptable. Maybe it was an honest mistake, but sadly, it didn’t match the great reviews I’d read.

So I bought tires through TireAgent and hadCar X Tire & Auto2465 53rd AvenueBettendorf, IA 52722 put the tires on.I told them I wanted to keep my tires that they where replacing. Because only 1 tire was bad. The other 3 where still good and the bad one I had a project for my yard with. The man told me I could not keep them it was against state regulations. I was all ready having a bad day so I let it go. But then he tried to tell me that my lugnuts all swelled and I needed them all replaced and if I didn't replace them all my tires won't come off when I need them too. And told me it was $432 for all 4 tires lugnuts to be replaced by them. Then shortly later he came back and told me I could get them off Amazon and needed to do it before I went of my trip.So I ended up leaving all flustered and went to the wrecker company to have my tires retorked. Where my boyfriend proceeded to tell everyone there what happened at Car X Tire & Auto. In which they informed me that 1 I could of and should of been able to keep my tires and 2 my lugnuts don't swell and they was trying to rip me off and that they had actually broken and replaced 3 or 4 lugnuts on my Jeep. METAL does not swell.I am one who doesn't like to make a seen and I will just walk away. But I will also let others know when something shady is going on and this is extremely shady!

Took car there to replace struts and they would only replace one. They broke things and charged me for it. Had to take my car somewhere else to fix not only finish what they were supposed to do, but also to undo everything they did. Ended up costing me twice as much! Avoid this place like the plague!!

Recently took my vehicle here for a simple oil change before we went on a road trip. There was nothing wrong with the service that was performed or the price. The woman at the front desk was pleasant and helpful, she even gave a discount for the wait (explained more below), but really shouldn't have had to and having a tight schedule that day, it was a bit annoying.I believe my appointment was at 11:30am. Appointments are usually made so your day can be more easily planned out and managed. I was there about 10 minutes before my appointment time and asked the person at the front desk how long the oil change would take, and she said about 15-20 minutes or so if they have the filter in stock (which she confirmed they did). Ok, great, no problem.While the waiting area was nice, I believe it was her daughter was very loud. She was hanging out in the actual walled-off area of the waiting room, so I couldn't sit in there. Instead, I sat at one of the tables by the front window. I was wearing noise cancelling earbuds and her daughter was still...obnoxiously loud.Listen, I have no problem bringing kids to work, sometimes and in some situations it may be necessary. But, they shouldn't cause a negative customer experience with a customer-facing job/business. She did little to quiet her daughter down or reign her in.However, the biggest issue I had was they did not even touch my car until half an hour or more after the appointment time. It was noon, or a little after, when they pulled my car into the bay. There were two other cars parked out front and I was the only other one in the waiting area. Half the bays were empty from the outside. It was about 12:30, an hour after the scheduled appointment time, before they were done.Again, appointments are made for a reason, if you can't stick to them, let your customer know up front so they can either reschedule or adjust other arrangements. Unfortunately, I couldn't just leave as we were leaving on a road trip the next day. I may still return, as the work itself and the friendliness of the staff is still great, but hopefully the thoughts from a return customer are taken into consideration for the future.Service: Oil change

Had our car aligned this morning. They did a great job. While I was there, the manager had to deal with a belligerent customer who was totally out of line regarding having to wait on a part and cost of the repair. The manager did an excellent job remaining professional even though he was being berated. We will definitely return
