Took car there to replace struts and they would only replace one. They broke things and charged me for it. Had to take my car somewhere else to fix not only finish what they were supposed to do, but also to undo everything they did. Ended up costing me twice as much! Avoid this place like the plague!!

Recently took my vehicle here for a simple oil change before we went on a road trip. There was nothing wrong with the service that was performed or the price. The woman at the front desk was pleasant and helpful, she even gave a discount for the wait (explained more below), but really shouldn't have had to and having a tight schedule that day, it was a bit annoying.I believe my appointment was at 11:30am. Appointments are usually made so your day can be more easily planned out and managed. I was there about 10 minutes before my appointment time and asked the person at the front desk how long the oil change would take, and she said about 15-20 minutes or so if they have the filter in stock (which she confirmed they did). Ok, great, no problem.While the waiting area was nice, I believe it was her daughter was very loud. She was hanging out in the actual walled-off area of the waiting room, so I couldn't sit in there. Instead, I sat at one of the tables by the front window. I was wearing noise cancelling earbuds and her daughter was still...obnoxiously loud.Listen, I have no problem bringing kids to work, sometimes and in some situations it may be necessary. But, they shouldn't cause a negative customer experience with a customer-facing job/business. She did little to quiet her daughter down or reign her in.However, the biggest issue I had was they did not even touch my car until half an hour or more after the appointment time. It was noon, or a little after, when they pulled my car into the bay. There were two other cars parked out front and I was the only other one in the waiting area. Half the bays were empty from the outside. It was about 12:30, an hour after the scheduled appointment time, before they were done.Again, appointments are made for a reason, if you can't stick to them, let your customer know up front so they can either reschedule or adjust other arrangements. Unfortunately, I couldn't just leave as we were leaving on a road trip the next day. I may still return, as the work itself and the friendliness of the staff is still great, but hopefully the thoughts from a return customer are taken into consideration for the future.Service: Oil change

Had our car aligned this morning. They did a great job. While I was there, the manager had to deal with a belligerent customer who was totally out of line regarding having to wait on a part and cost of the repair. The manager did an excellent job remaining professional even though he was being berated. We will definitely return

Have used this place and the other locations many times have always had a good experience with honest guys. Recently they have sold to another company not a fan dropped my car off for some simple exhaust work waited 4 days never heard a thing from them then was told it would be over 900 dollars for a job that should take no more then 3-4 hours tops sadly I will not be taking my car there for work again because they charge more then dealership price now.

I was super impressed, when they even thought they might have broken another part when doing a repair they fixed it at no cost! They never unnecessarily up-sold any repairs, and made sure everything they worked on was approved. Used them multiple times, they are the only place I’d use in the QC!

I recently visited QC Auto Service on 53rd Avenue in Bettendorf, IA. It was by far the best experience I have had with an auto service provider. The reception area was clean and inviting, the staff was available and friendly, the service was quick and reasonably priced. A total 180 from the horrible service I have had at Walmart and Farm and Fleet. Definitely recommend this business!Services: Oil change

Jeff was our savior tonight. Had a dead battery, but we were able to jump the car at 430pm. I called the shop and even though they were scheduled to close at 5pm, Jeff told us to head over right away. He got us in to test and swap out the battery within 30 minutes. Extremely impressed and happy he was willing to help us out on such short notice. Highly recommend!Service: Battery

QC Auto in Bettendorf is the only place I take my car in the Quad Cities. They are always so professional, helpful, honest, and friendly. Jeff has always taken the time to explain what is wrong with my car and does so with a smile on his face. Highly recommend QC Auto in Bettendorf!
