Phone company lies about fees… again, what’s new??? My brother and I both opted for a “free” device trade in where we asked multiple times during the process about what fees existed and if it would change the monthly bill. Each time we asked we were told $70 in taxes that we pay up front and $30 activation fee that would appear on the next bill. They said “the monthly bill would not change at all except the one time $30 fee”. The next bill comes and it increase by around $300. 2 x $30 doesn’t equal $300 last time I checked. If the next bill does not return to normal that would be even more aggravating. Not everybody can just afford a random $300 increase in a bill. The only reason this gets two stars is because the staff was nice despite being misinformed (or instructed by the higher ups to flat out lie about the fees)

I took my 85 year old dad’s flip phone in that wasn’t working and they restored it to normal! Can’t tell you what a relief it was because trying to teach my dad with dementia how to use a new phone would have been a disaster! Can’t thank them enough for working miracles!
