Only giving one star because I can't choose 0 stars. Very unprofessional. I have AAA and needed towed. It was a little after 9 pm. And my tow request was picked up by Kirby wrecker who said they would be there by 10:45. Then 11:03. Then midnight. Then nothing till 2:30am when they finally responded with rescheduling my tow till 8:30 to 10:30am. At their request I was to be present with id and AAA card. More than 4 hours on the side of the highway . In the middle of the night and they tell me at 2:30 am they don't even have a driver for the tow. THEN WHY WOULD YOU EVEN SAY YOU COULD DO IT.!!! LET SOMEONE ELSE DO THE TOW SO IT AT LEAST GETS DONE!!! Thanks for nothing really now I get to sleep for 2 hours before I have to work!

I can't say enough good! I tried several services and nobody would come out. I broke down in Lynville, Iowa doing a Walmart Spark delivery. The people of Lynville were truly super to me, and this company drove all the way from the south to help me. I had so much trouble finding a wrecker to work with me, that I had to spend the night in a cold car on a very dark street.
I certainly do recommend them. The driver was knowledgeable and knew what he was doing, unloaded my car perfectly in a tight area, but was also kind and decent to me, plus he was nice to talk to en route.
Highly recommended!!!

Kirby Wrecker Service came out on 2/18/2025 when it was freezing temperatures outside to help me get my truck and APU started. They went above and beyond to help. They gave me a great price and stayed longer after being done to make sure everything was working properly.

Kirby Wrecker is the best. Troy helped me twice, what a great guy and great service. Josh helped me tremendously when we ran off the road and I thought there was no way to get it out, but he did. Thanks guys, appreciate you much.

Everytime I call even in the wee hours of the morning the person I talk to is always polite even when you wake him up with your call.Jake is the one who always gets my calls and he is very nice and polite and knows his job and does it in a professional manner everytime. Kirby's Wrecker is who I tell everyone to call.

Unfortunately our trailer blew a tire on Hwy 34. Before I could get back to it to change flat IHP had Kirby's tow it. When I went to get it knew I had to grind some of the old rim off to get last lug nut off. I'm a seasoned citizen and somewhat decrepit 😀😀Before I could even start they jumped in had old rim off new tire and rim on and I was on my way. Great people and so friendly and helpful.

We had a blowout on Hwy 34…Jake was there in no time and took care of us.
I had my 88 year old mother in the car with me …Jake was so professional and so courteous he took us to Wayne’s Tire and we were back on the road in no time.

I just want to give Josh a big 5 star rating not just because of the amazing quick action prompt of service in his towing,but also because he is friendly and has gone over beyond his towing company. He's genuine honest and a pay it forward guy we are very grateful for ur service with the towing driving all the way to ottumwa to get my husband bring to our home in Moulton ia and save us a bunch of money by knowing what was actually wrong with the car and fixed it and then towed our car home. We are grateful and appreciate all your help and insight. Thank u much respect u have our business for life and recommend Josh to all sincerely The Knowles family

I needed lmy truck towed. Jake was polite and cheerful, even though it was 5 PM on a Saturday evening, and he’d been working since 8:00 that morning - and for days (weeks?) on end because of this winter’s intense snow, ice and slush.As I watched him load my truck, I was very impressed with his focus and care. It’s obvious he takes pride in his work, and treats each vehicle as if it was his own. Seeing a young fella like this gives us older people more confidence in the future of our world. Thank you!

I went in the ditch early in the AM on my way to work. I called Kirby’s & within 2 minutes of hanging up with dispatch the driver Jake text me it’s take him 10 min to get out of bed & dressed & 18 minutes to get to me. He arrived on time, helped me figure out my husbands trick, quickly & efficiently pulled me out of a horrible spot in very deep snow. Followed me to work to make sure there were no issues. One of the best encounters I have ever had with a business let alone a tow company. Thank you Jake for making my Monday AM a great one when I thought it was going to be a bad day after starting out in the ditch!

My family and I drove to New Sharon, an 1 1/2 hours away from home and broke down . My insurance (Road side assistance) could not help what so ever so I had to leave my car there. I called Kirby Wrecker Saturday morning, Josh had no hesitation in helping me get my car to Vaughns in Ottumwa! One of the Best services I’ve ever had!
