JOANN Fabric and Crafts is a well-organized and clean store with a very big selection of different fabrics and lots of items. It is known for materials and fabric, but also has things that men would actually be interested in, not just sewing needles and grandma fabrics. Prices are decent. Employees are very helpful and pleasant, offering assistance. However, some store rules can be limiting, such as not being able to open product boxes or return items for full credit once opened. Some customers also wish for more art items. Overall, it is a very nice store where customers plan to return.
Buying a sewing machine. Clerk very helpful. However, she could not open a box so I could see the machine for size. Against the rules. There was not one on display. I did end up buying that machine, but once I opened the box, I could not return for full credit if I decided not to keep it.
