I've had flawless service with them, for over 5 years now.I use my own equipment and I don't rent theirs.I have also noticed the price keeps going up, on a regular basis.

Just moved to the area from a place that had fiber optic. Pay for 100mbps internet with mediacom now for about a month and am averaging between 8mbps and 30mbps…that is when it’s working… on top of this, we have to reserve half a day for a tech to come out and figure out why the internet they just set up a month ago has never worked right. worst internet I’ve ever had.

If you are looking for unreliable connection service than this is the company you want. You can always call for help and they will gladly tell you to unplug everything, wait 5 seconds than plug it back in. Best day I had with them in 3+ years is when I turned in my box

My Cable Bill went UP $120.00 per Month!!!!!. Been with them for 30 years!!! Time for a CHANGE. Their Bill didn't even Itemize the increase of What/Where??? Spent over two weeks trying to get something done about my internet problem. Tec people don't have much knowledge. Now the Telephone Caller I.D. doesn't even show on my T.V. screen like it used too. Another, 'Pay MUCH more, for even less. Looking to change service------- Who cares about 'Customers' anymore???

They charge way too much for a service that:1) Has an automated troubleshooter with no direct line to a person to talk to.2) Goes down literally every single time I want to play certain games and stream them on Twitch.3) Is a metered connection.Whenever I do happen to get ahold of a person they're pretty friendly though so I guess I can give them 2 stars.

Should offer Saturday or weekend installation for customers. No installation tech ever called my phone, left a message, or left any Paperwork either on my front or rear doors, or mailbox.

If I could rate their customer service a negative star I would. I have been on the phone 5 times with them since Friday. The company doesn't seem to understand that I have a job and cannot take off to be at the house for installation. So after talking to 5 people I surprisingly got a standby appt for this weekend. I hope others have better luck with their customer service.
