The absolute best of the best customer service! I had an issue with my playmaker antenna it would not receive any signal. I called Winegard and had the opportunity to speak to patty and she walked me through so many different steps to resolve issue. Unfortunately she determined the antenna maybe damaged/inoperable. She went through all the steps on her end and got the ball rolling quickly and sent out a brand new antenna ( well within warranty). I received the antenna in less than a week and I’m up and running. I want Winegard to know what a truly customer driven employee they have in patty. She is truly a valued asset to the company. Keep up the great work.Tom

Yeah I just don't get it why the abrasive customer service reps! I work at 100% remote and need my internet and don't expect to get attitude when I call for support.

Patty was not only professional and knowledgeable but she exemplified what a technical support interaction should be.Patty was patient, provided clear and easy to follow instructions, and verified throughout the interaction that we were making progress.I trained agents to support DirecTV for a number of years before I retired. While I helped a number of agents succeed, those who I would put in the same category as Patty made up a very limited and exclusive group.

I was having difficulty with my dish playmate satellite antenna. I spoke to the Winegard representative, Michelle. She was outstanding in explaining to me what to look for for the problem I was having and also recommended that I change the source channels. Apparently Dish canceled channel 129 and did not notify their customers. With this correction adding 615 the antenna worked properly. This was certainly one of the better experiences I’ve had with Equipment representatives.Thanks again Michelle.

A shout out thanking Michelle for her exceptional service and expertise! I was not able to get my Wally receiver to connect to the playmaker through all the cabling in my RV. I also needed an extra cable to get a clear line of sight to the satellites. Michelle recommended a power inserter. I installed it, added additional coax and was able to use the playmaker.

I’ve never been spoken to with such a snotty superior tone. I’m actually embarrassed for the company to have such horrible customer service employees……disappointing to say the least.

I was having trouble setting up my cell router g1000 called customer service. The lady I talked to was a pro and walked me through all the steps. I was on the phone for over a hour with her. She got it going I very much appreciate her help thanks.

My warranty on my Sensor IV was denied. They said I would have to disassemble the lift unit myself and make the repairs. They would not replace the defective unit.

Terrible customer service. Purchased a Winegard Carryout G3 directly with Winegard, was transferred to their Directv Account Specialist. Was on hold for 2 hours. Called back, put my name in the queue for a call back. That was 5 days ago, still haven't received a call back, been calling everyday trying to speak with someone.

Best I can tell, no one forced these people to go into business making RV antennas, but they decided to anyway. Well, they must not be very good at it as evidenced by their 2.4 out of 5 stars on their customer reviews, and their unprofessional customer service. The digital antenna on my RV failed within their 5 year parts warranty period. Despite waiting 42 minutes on hold, I thought I was very polite in explaining the failure of my antenna. I explained that the control knob inside the coach no longer turns the antenna. The rep explained that "the antenna would not be covered under warranty because I must have broke it". She gave no consideration whatsoever to the fact that the internal part failed by any combination of poor design, defects in materials, or poorly manufactured parts. Ironically, the part that malfunctioned is a tube with a slot cut into it that probably costs 50 cents to manufacture. Well guess what, they only stock complete units and they DO NOT STOCK repair parts. In my case and from my perspective, their 5 year parts warranty is entirely false. Just be aware that if you contact this company for a legitimate warranty claim, they are going to blame you for breaking it by some act of personal negligence. I will be replacing my antenna with a replacement from a reputable company with decent customer reviews.

My experience was 5 stars for sure. I put myself in line to be called back, and it wasn't 5 minutes until my call was returned. The lady I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable and so pleasant to talk with. She clearly explained the procedures that I needed to follow and said to call back if I needed more help. This is our 3rd Winegard satellite dish, and they have performed extremely well. I am sorry to see only negative reviews on this website, but then only 47 out of the thousands and thousands of customers that Winegard must have isn't very many. Satisfied customers often do not take the trouble to praise.

Their customer service.. has to be on par with some worst customer service you can receive. Like 90's GreyHound Quality... you will be lucky to get anyone on the phone, or even a response to an email. I was charged 3 times in 1 month.. still no response.

Numerous calls that consumed a lot of my time with no results for a problematic Roadtrip T4. The last call, I was assured a call back from his "supervisor " to come up with a solution. As I expected, I heard nothing. These units cost a lot of money so the expectation of better customer service is right on target. It's too bad they don't provide. I would NOT recommend their products.

We have a Winegard Traveler SK-1000 that has never worked properly. Trying to work with their customer service about this has been a nightmare. I would never buy another product from these guys. One of their representatives actually hung up on us yesterday.

Was given a satellite dish and stand for Christmas gift by my wife and it didn’t fit in storage area of our RV so we wanted to exchange or return it. However, it was purchased more than 30 days before we opened gifts for Christmas. Never used, out of box once. Called and a very pleasant lady helped me but her manager refused to budge from their 30 day return rule. I live in Iowa about a 100 miles from the Burlington Iowa company office and offered to drive it down to have the manager look at it before accepting the return and they declined. Their prerogative but terrible customer relationship building. Their product may be fine (don’t know) but once it’s out the door don’t expect them to have your back. Disappointing way to treat anyone let alone a fellow Iowan. I will be active on my RV websites.
