You can even use the weekly $$off coupons by selecting them in app and you don't have to worry about having a receipt with the coupon on it. 4 star is because there is always items on sale or listed in app that are not available at this store or out of stock.”

“It is a very clean and well organized store in Clinton, IA. Just were looking for some birthday finishing touches. They had some unique outdoor wall signs welcoming summer. Staff is very friendly at the checkout.”

“I love my local Dollar General. It's convenient, priced comparably to the grocery stores and a whole bunch handier. Also you don't have to chase an employee down to hopefully have knowledge enough to assist you correctly(Walmart) the staff is prepared to assist you on request. Dollar General has a little bit of everything health and beauty, household items, bathroom needs, frozen and shelf foods, canned food and drinks galore plus much, much more. I would recommend Dollar General to 10 out of 10 people if asked. 100%”

“I was there on 5/23/23 at 8:11am The employee Tonya was working and she went above and beyond her duties. She was one of the best employees I have ever experienced. Her attitude, good natured, friendly, upbeat and just an overall wonderful person. I think she needs recognition for this.”
“Dollar General has a wide variety of every day needs, but unfortunately, it isn't always stocked. The other negative is that they have a LOT of boxes and stock carts in most of the aisles and it can make it a bit harder to find an item you are looking for. Employees are helpful and kind!”
