It is an excellent one-stop shop for all native plants, flowers, grasses, sedges, and forbs for Iowa, with a nice and wonderful selection and loads of variety. The plants are beautiful and healthy. The owners are super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and helpful explanations. Prices are very reasonable and great. Checkout is simple and efficient. The property itself is full of native butterflies and bees. Visitors should use GPS and look for the driveway across from Middle River Cemetery, noting the small signs at the road. It is most certainly worth the drive from Des Moines and the surrounding area, and many customers plan to return regularly.
