  I came in to get barely anything off. I told her when she asked that I didn’t want to lose any length and she chopped 6 inches of the front of my hair and nothing off the back. She put some lotion on her hands to make it temporarily smooth. Now the front of my hair is 6 inches shorter and I have to pull the back front she took off all the way. I said I just wanted a very simple basic Layered cut or graduated cut but I never okayed any face framing. She ruined my hair now and there’s it’s all it’s not even at all every single end and tip looks completely jagged and I said no and no I said no texture or blending. The ends look uncut and unclean. She made it look so so so horrible. There’s a big shock the bags go all the way back to the crowd in my head and it’s 6 inches shorter than all the rest of my hair and it’s so jagged. It’s so awfulawful horrible shit. So excited and so jagged and not even it looks so awful. It’s so so horrible. It’s so horrible. I spent years growing out a bad cut like this from a lazy stylist who just chopped the face off and didn’t give me the long layered or gradual cut I want and now I have it again. It just got so. Why does she do this on someone else’s head??? You are the one who asked if I wanted a V cut, you showed me the shape from the back and it did not look like what you did to my head. You took the long long bangs I wanted, and you went all the way back to the crown of my head and took all the length and made all the hair at the front of my head short and jagged!
  And after she said “well, that’s the point of a V cut!” Excuse me if that’s the point of a V cut is to take 6 inches of length off the entire front of someone’s hair and I didn’t wanna lose any length. There should be no confusion. You should’ve said well a V cut is losing 6 inches in the front ma’am. And said you said you don’t wanna lose any length right and I said right I don’t wanna lose any length. Not only did I not get long bangs and a very simple cut you chopped all the front of my head off made it jagged made it short and then there’s a long cut in the back. There’s a huge difference between 6 inches on the entire front of off of someone’s head and not losing any length.

  I went back to great clips because the time before I had a fabulous African American woman cut my hair. She was friendly asked me many questions of what I was wanting and then was very friendly and chatted with me during the haircut. She was fabulous. But I went back last week and sadly got a different woman who was not friendly, didnt go into much detail of what I was wanting. When I told her twice what I was wanting for a cut she got kind of short and snappy with me. She didn't hardly wet my hair , ask me questions and said not one word to while she was doing the hair cut. I know have to get my hair fixed because once I got home I realized she cut one side shorter and visibly shorter layers on one side then the other. It looks awful. So if I ever go back I will ask for the nice , friendly African American woman and not the half head shave green hair girl. Im Not trying to put anyone down but when you live on a budget and go in to get something nice done and you get that it just wasn't a great experience this time...

  Awful! Telling jokes about diapers, a rug in the back that stunk, leaving their client to talk to husband…thankfully we had a nice African American stylist that was extremely nice (very pretty and dressed nice) she did a great job and was very polite … used to go there all the time-never again!

  I used the Great Clips app to check in and followed the estimated time based on number of check-ins. When I arrived I was seated and haircut completed and out the door in ten minutes.

  There was a 63 minute wait for 2 people on the waitlist and 2 workers. The one worker seemed new but the other was too busy trash talking other customers when they left. The staff here is super rude and unprofessional.

  Asked for a fade mid fade, and the Barber didn't use any guards to blend my hair, just a comb and buzzer. I'm not writing this review as only the product of this single Barber however, rather a series of times I've gone. I maybe get 1 good haircut out of every 10 times I would go. I've cut hair before and I know how easy it is, they seem to just rush through the job and get you out of the door asap for the next customer. I believe they need to focus just a bit more time on the haircut than 6-7 minutes that they did.

  April at Great Clips on Viking Rd advised me that she had 22 years experience and she could handle a shag cut. April cut the side of my hair off.
