Love this place, Hunter is awesome mechanic! 10 stars all the way around!!! Reasonable prices friendly faces. Love the way I can just go on there and try to haggle my way to paying lower prices, but as Hunter puts it, I pay what I pay and I get to look at his beautiful face.?????????

If I could give less stars I would. We bought a used car for my son from L & M. He drove it for a short time and a head gasket blew. When we took it to an honest mechanic, we found out they had filled the car with stop leak. It cost us over $2500 to repair the car. Do not trust this business! I understand when buying a used car you are taking a risk and are getting it as is, but this is a dealer deceiving someone to make a buck. You have to be a pretty awful person to look someone in the eye and lie to them. ZERO STARS. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BUSINESS. THEY ARE LIARS AND CON ARTISTS.

Less than 30 minutes of driving time after L & M worked on my van - the engine locked up. This failure was not related to a timing belt issue - the belt was in good condition. L & M claimed no reasonability.My van required a new engine. If you need engine service - go to Mad Hatter - 319-277-4323.

Took advantage of my girlfriend at the time. Replaced way more stuff than needed, bill was higher than the car was worth. Would never go there again

Bought a used car from Hunter and he was very accommodating about meeting to see the vehicle after hours! Then when we thought their was a major problem with the vehicle they helped resolve the issue!!! Great communication. They may be a small shop, but don’t let that scare you!! A friend of mine is a student at UNI. He went here for an oil change and found that the oil was never changed, and he was charged the total price for a service they did not perform. This is horrible behavior for a company and an unacceptable way to treat a young college man trying to get by. Avoid!!!
