Great place to visit. It’s literally like visiting Europe while staying here in Cedar Rapids. The glass items are very lovely and made with old world grace and charm. Many of the glass items are really objets d'art. The gentleman that runs the shop is very knowledgeable. In a graceless and repugnant age, Czech Cottage provides a well-ordered oasis of top notch craftmanship so reminiscent of Catholic culture.

It is a great place to shop if you are looking for authentic Czech items from the Czech Republic.Also....the items are fairly priced. Personnel on hand are very knowledgeable.IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP....DO NOT PASS IT BY....

I love the Czech Cottage, and have been going there for many years! They have lovely imported glassware, and garnet jewelry from the Czech Republic. The store owner goes there several times a year to buy for his store. They also carry decorated Czech eggs, imported Christmas ornaments as well as costume jewelry from Europe. These are things you won't find anywhere else, and at very reasonable prices! The owner is so kind and helpful, and has an extensive knowledge of all things Czech. Try it you won't be disappointed!
