Well here I am 2 hours into a oil change wait. I was on time and still waiting. Never coming here again.
I swear Cedar Rapids needs a new company. Every single place sucks. I can’t find one single reliable mechanic or business not a revolving door.

Danny, Riley, and the team were an absolute blessing at Firestone Cedar Rapids off of Tenth St SE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa! My tire blew about a half an hour from their shop off of I380. With the spare put on, I still had 4 hours to go on my way to St. Louis for college. I decided to call Firestone who were open arms to install 4 brand new tires on the SUNDAY before St. Patties Day! There are not many good serviceman left out in this world like them and I’m glad a higher power pointed me in their direction! They were amazing and had me done in 2 hours upon calling!

If I can rate it a 0 I would. I pulled in for air in my tire. The gentleman that greeted me, greeted me with a stank attitude. He said “ I have someone pulling into this bay” didn’t even go into detail where should I park and wait at. I went in and it’s the same dude helping the counter, he said I would send someone out to do the tires. Here it is 20 minutes later and still no one pulls to the bay he yelled at me about & still no one to look at the tires.

Reliable, fast repairs. A little on the pricey side, but I would rather pay more for reliable repairs. Plus everyone I have talk to here has had great customer service and are very friendly.

Brought my vehicle in for a oil change. 4 hours later was told I needed all new front brakes rotors and pads because left side caliper seized up. Quoted over $1000. Took another shop. Fixes pistons on caliper which was the issue. Replaced pads on both sides and replaced damaged rotor that was only a month old. Saved me over $750!! Will never go to Firestone again! Not even for a oil change.

My oil change was competed just fine, but I received a call stating that there was a long list of issues with my vehicle. One of items on the list was a new air filter. That filter had recently been changed. When I got home that evening, we checked the air filter and it still looked new. It's sad that your shop was attempting to essentially steal money from me by trying to replace parts that aren't necessary to replace. I have told several people and will not return.

My roadside assistance had my car towed here after my lower ball joint failed in town. I was questioning what was going on when my tow truck driver started making out with one of the mechanics in the waiting room. Skip ahead a few hours and they price me out $1400. I paid the $24 for the inspection and told them I was taking my car elsewhere. They offered 10% off but I declined. Then I was hit with the “you aren’t going to find cheaper anywhere else in town I promise you that.” Well I already had, half the price actually, at several other places. “Well the quality will be horrible, you’ll regret that”.. After several eye rolls from this team I got my keys, but it took them 20 minutes to lower my car (no other customers around, staff were on their phones laughing at the idea I can find cheaper) and let my new tow truck take my car away. Turns out Firestone made significantly more body damage to my quarter panel during their inspection process, but that’s a whole other story I’ll let insurance deal with. Between the price gouging, eye rolling, and difficulty letting me have my car, I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here. Read the other reviews.

Kody was so nice and helpful when I dropped off my car. They had it done in a couple hours. When I picked it up though, the guy seemed annoyed that I interrupted his work to grab my car. I’ll still give 5 stars though because otherwise the service was great! Kody was so great and explained everything to me when I dropped it off!

I took my mom on Sunday to get an estimate on her breaks. After sitting there for over an hour we got the estimate and made an appointment for Thursday, being told that having had this appointment would cut down on the time that it would take to do the brakes, being quoted 45 minutes to an hour.
This morning I showed up with my mom's car to get the brakes done after waiting over an hour I was told that the correct brakes had just came in and they were going to proceed with getting those on???? It was at this time that I was told that they had ordered the wrong breaks. What should have taken 45 minutes to an hour this morning ended up being almost 2 hours. Definitely not how you do service and how do you order the wrong breaks after having already inspected the vehicle please answer me that. My mom is disabled and if she had came with me this morning there's no way we could have sat there as long as we did. What's happened with your service??
