Friendly but way to expensive. Spent over $1000 cause my poor puppy fractured his leg.

Everybody was really nice even when my dog started barking. The doctor was extremely pleasant and wonderful to work with. I will continue to bring my fur babies to them.

I rarely write a review; however, this is a great time to do just that. I have been taking my pets to Fry Animal Clinic for more that 45 years. This clinic just gets better all the time. I am so impressed when they know my pet's names and are so friendly to me and them. It does not seem to matter how busy they are when I come in, they are patient, polite, and efficient. We will never go anywhere else. We have a small dog, a large dos, and a bossy cat, thank you all at Fry for being who you are.

I had a great experience will Dr. Willam (sp?)> Iw wish she was there full time. She gave the attention that my dog needed and even took the time to build a relationship with him. I really appreciate it.

I rarely write reviews online, but I just had to let people know about Dr. Steen. He is the most communicative and thoughtful doctor (of any kind) I've had the pleasure of dealing with. He goes above and beyond regularly, and Cedar Rapids is fortunate to have such a great resource in the community.

Terrible! Tried scheduling an appointment for my sister to bring her dog in. They would only schedule with my sister.

Took my new puppy in and they were great. They worked to squeeze me in even though they were booked out a ways since it was a puppy. Everyone seemed very nice and knowledgeable about my puppy's health. Gave me an information packet about puppy reccomendations and they offer classes too. Great experience I will be using them moving forward.

The doctors and staff are so friendly and always treat my pet like he is their only patient! If you have an urgent matter come up, they work you in the same day.

They have always treated my pets and me with respect and kindness. Dr Kingus, Dr Koopman, Dr Feuerbach, Dr Reierson and Dr Ayers are all exceptional! (I haven’t met the others!) They are competent and compassionate and provide wonderful care.

I'm extremely pleased with the care my pets receive at Frey. The vets I see are very caring, attentive and knowledgable and there is a friendliness and positivity throughout the entire staff.

Frey Pet Hospital is just as good now as they were 10+ years ago taking care of my childhood dog, Vinny. When I moved back to the area with a dog of my own, they were my first thought when my dog wasn't feeling well. They are efficient with their work, covering all bases with the added benefit of getting you and your pet in and out as quickly as possible. The staff are all so welcoming and kind. I'd highly recommend!

I could not recommend them more. I have taken dogs I own as well and board and trains I have here. Frey has been there for me in many ways; from a new puppy, training, X-rays, to end of life. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate and listens not only to my concerns but if I need things to be done a certain way at the vets for training they are always ready to make it the most positive visit they can. They have been accommodating to my disabilities as well. When my service dog passed they went above and beyond. Giving him the best care they could, and then being as supportive and compassionate as possible afterwards. I’m thankful for every staff member here!

Dr Koopman is fantastic, and has been wonderful along with the techs with all of our fur babies. They are attentive, detailed, incredibly kind, and have always leaned to the side of caution in terms of testing and treatments (they caught several situations with our fur babies that would have been missed if they didn't look into something further). Simultaneously, Dr Koopman is very careful to be conscientious of the cost of testing and treatment and always has explained all options for things and their costs prior to moving forward. She always presents multiple options, so if your budget doesn't allow for a $300 test, you can still confidently care for your pet with a less expensive alternate option and know you are still providing for your fur baby. The only reason(s) for giving it 4 instead of 5 stars are: 1. organization in terms of timing could be a little bit better, as it usually takes a while to be able to leave after the vet or tech is done with the visit. 2. They are a more expensive clinic. Even simple visits will cost more at Frey than other clinics.***BUT you get what you pay for with them. Even though it costs me more to take our pets to Frey than to other places I've gone, I know they're getting the best care and treatment and they aren't being used as sales pawns for the latest vet med marketing push.***
