Ordered cabinets here and it has been a horrible experience. They completely lied about how long it would take to receive them (even though we knew about supply issues, they assured us it would not take more than 4-5 weeks to get them). They were delivered a week ago and we have discovered pieces that are broke and quite a few pieces are missing. When we have called (4 times in 6 days) we have to explain the situation to them each time because no one records what has happened - the person on the phone claims “this is the first time you have reported an issue.” Naturally they never call us back with an update. NEVER EVER order from Home Depot - especially the Cedar Rapids location.

I will never spend another dime nor ever reccomend them. We tried to return a sink and faucet today. It was past the 90 period which is hidden in tiny little print on the original receipt, which we had. We simply changed our mind do to contractor issues post Derecho and went a different route. We were told by Jason that our only option was to take instore credit or if he so chose to, he could refuse to do anything. Pretty shady and unethical...

Horrible customer service. Save some grief and go to one of the other nearby stores like Menards or Lowe’s.

I went to see about carpet & install & had a great experience compared to both local competitors.

Bought a washer/dryer set. Was told they would set up without a hassle. Never told me had to pay extra for removal of old set. These people told us they couldn’t hook up the dryer vent and then proceeded to break our drain piping when “hooking up”. Call to inform Home Depot and the woman was less than professional and offered no help. Third party people doing the moving and installing. $1800 and 4 hours of bs. Never again.

I can't even begin to describe my experience at one of your store locations. I purchased thousands of $$$ in project material in the past month, only to find out there was an extreme drop in lumber prices. When I contacted customer service I was left on hold for 25 min, bounced between 4 different people, and hung up on. When I was finally able to speak to an "assistant manager" I was treated very disrespectfully and told they were unwilling to do anything. I explained that I am well within the 90 return policy and I could easily return a truck load of wood, making them have to scan them all back in and then repurchase all of it - but that would be a hassle all around and I would prefer to make it easier on everyone. I was told that's "well within my rights" but they were unwilling to match the price because of their 14 day (!) match policy. Then he told me "How far back should I go?!? Any time?" 90 days is the answer - that's your return policy. I am currently going through the same situation at Lowe's because I bought wood there too and they are fixing the problem. I explained that to the manager and was told I am within my right to take my future business there. DONE and DONE. When you make it impossible for your customers and treat them with such disrespect, no one will want to give your their business. And your wood is sub-par at best - filled with splinters and knots. Sad.

We went in person to ask if we could use a box truck for the next day and found out we can't do reservations and to call tomorrow. We did and the person on the phone was really rude and said that you guys don't have those and never had those when we seen them there with our own eyes. Home Depot likes to lie to customers I guess.....

Drove a half hour to this location because the website said they had the product we needed in stock, only to be treated very rudely and told that the website was wrong. Picked up a tension rod because we needed one and didn't want to waste the trip. Got home and opened it to find it broken and unusable. Won't come here again.

Is there anything more adult than buying a refrigerator? I mean. The measuring, review reading, feature finding, finish deciding, price checking and delivery scheduling. Not to mention emptying the old to then fill the new. Appliance shopping is exhausting! While I wanted to shop more local than Home Depot. My kitchen had other thoughts. It had to be single door, had to be a certain size... and the only feature that was a MUST was a water dispenser. (Which with a single door fridge is hard to find.) Alas, Home Depot had it. The stainless steel fridge of my dreams... errr... or rather my kitchen's dreams. Popped online. Snagged it in my cart. Scheduled the first possible day they could deliver. (A week later.) Added that they would be taking my old hunk of junk fridge away with them. (An additional $25.) Added that they would be needing to get the water hooked up to the fridge.-- cause nobody's got time for that. (An additional $25.) Popped in my credit card info. Painless. Then the day before the delivery, I got a text telling me a window of when it would be delivered. (2-6pm. Which, let me point out that is about eight hours less of a timeframe then what my local cable company gives me when my internet is acting up.) I got email updates as they approached. I got a call when they were one stop away. Two fellas in masks came during the 2-6pm window. They had to take my front door off to get the fridge in, but man-- they were speedy! They gave me tips on cleaning it. Told me how to get the water and ice going. Put my front door back on. Took my old fridge away. BOOM. In and out in about 20 minutes. This was a painless adulting excursion, thanks Home Depot!

There installer phone is always busy, and the local store is no help. I'll never buy a door from them again if they have the same installer. Poor Customer service.

Q and Brandon did a nice job of making sure to get the appliance inside of the house without any scratches. Our experience was seamless and we’ll be back in the future. Thanks guys!

After washer was improperly installed and water damaged 3 floors of the home, Mgr Alan was anything but helpful. Utterly disappointing customer service. Did nothing to make the situation right. Over $10,000 in damage to the home... flooring, ceiling, drywall, insulation, trim, carpet... ruined on each of 3 floors. Sad excuse for management and "customer service." Definitely do not recommend this place if you are seeking proper install and quality customer service.

Tried to do curbside pick up and sat outside forever. I finally called the store and that was just as painful. terrible service. Menards will be where I go going forward.
