If I could have put zero stars, sadly, I would have. Zero communication and customer service. We don't need the pharmacy much, thank goodness, can't imagine needing to rely on a prescription from them. Do better, HyVee. Shame on you.

The attitude and audacity of these pharmacists is crazy

I always have amazing service at Edgewood Rd location. I put my refill request in early enough so I never run out of my meds. Everyone is always so friendly.

Not surprised at all that they have such their poor reviews. The staff is condescending, rude. While picking up meds for my child, the person tried to make fun to the last name, while the one standing next to her was smiling watching her do so. They do nothing to deserve your business.

I think that I'm going to have to find a different pharmacy. My family does our grocery shopping at this location because we like the selection and the grocery store employees seem nice. We actually travel across town. The pharmacy is a different story, I don't know if it's because of other rude customers but almost everytime I've had to pick up my medication from the pharmacy, the employee is rude. The pharmacists seem nice and knowledgeable but the employees are usually snippy. I generally try not to let it get to me but this past time I went to pick up my anti-depressants because I've been having a hard time adjusting after my grandpa died recently. There were two people in front of us and I rather wait and take my time then cause anyone else anxiety. Jill (I believe that's her name) called us over, I handed her the proper cards, she chuckled at my last name as she looked me up and then told us the medication wasn't called in. I had another medication I take which is popular, and my doctor had mentioned that it might not be in supply so I said "oh, okay. I can get that what later, what about *insert name of antidepressants*" and she said "yeah, they're not ready". Then I asked when they would be ready because I'll usually get a time frame and we'll just wonder around or stay on that side of town until they ready to be picked up. She responded with a shrug and a "welp idk" expression while pointing everyone else out and saying "I don't know. we're busy. We have a lot of people here." I don't like causing a fuss and I understood they were busy so I said "oh, okay" and walked away to go cry in my car. It's not the worst interaction that I've had from here but as I've been thinking about it, it's just the last straw. I just wished I could have gotten a time frame or even a "we could help you tomorrow at this time". I understand that they probably have customers that are difficult when picking up medication but it makes me want to be more accommodating. I don't think it's worth taking a long trip and to feel so unwelcomed and discarded after an interaction.

Pharmacy is busy but I wish they didn’t let people drop off a prescription and wait while it’s being filled blocking the line. It takes so long when you just need to pick up.

Literally had the most condescending woman answer the phone and ask me to "walk her through" how I was out of my medication 2 days early. How about I dont have pharmacy technicians, or otherwise interrogate me on my Rx when I call? Then when i asked for the employees name she said she didnt want to tell me her name because I would make a "false report". Sounds like this is a seasoned terrible employee. I mean who is scared to stand by their actions an comments? This was at 1pm, Saturday, 1/20/24.-I sent an email to their customer service as requested. I will update with how they respond. On 1/21/24.-1/28 still no response. Seems that their customer service involves replying to bad internet reviews, but not actually doing anything about the problem.-2/14 crickets. No response by the management team like I was told would happen.

I’ve already moved most of our grocery and pharmacy purchases away from Hy-Vee because of a combination of poor service/quality/increased costs/corporate support of bad politicians and policies.
My daughter had a refill remaining on an older prescription and because it was a holiday weekend, with reduced hours at our primary pharmacy, I had it refilled for pickup. I received the text notification that it was ready. I stopped in and the tech asked for our name and then for me to spell it. Then she hid for a number of minutes before she had the pharmacist tell me that ‘the patient had requested it to Walmart’.
My daughter is 15 months old, so unless she also knows how much Hy-Vee has gone down hill in 5 years, she didn’t request it to a pharmacy we don’t use.
It seems like very few prescriptions are actually filled in house and instead sent in from a centralized location. Pricing is inconsistent for the same script.
This location has incorrectly told a family member with a DEA license that a prescription was a controlled substance when it is not. At another location within the same chain, a pharmacy student challenged a prescription for a scopolamine patch because the prescriber was from a medical speciality that she doesn’t routinely see prescribe them.
I have no reason to continue to do business with this chain. There’s better service, prices, and organizations to work with in the CR area.
I don’t need any sort of corporate reply and any unauthorized access of my family’s pharmacy records will be met with a HIPAA complaint.

I stopped at this grocery store for some breakfast items on a Sunday morning. Everyone working seem to be friendly and very helpful. It's a large store with a huge selection of items.I think the prices might have been a little on the high side on the items that I surveyed while I was walking around. The store is very clean and like I said has just about everything that you would ever think you would need.

I ordered groceries and when unloading found quite a few missing. Called the store and was told no one was able to help me, call back sometime tomorrow. That's a problem.

There Aisles online just isn't the same anymore at the begging of the year I'd say it was at least a 9/10 uoverall the service was definitely best in the city, but now everytime but the past few months the service has definitely declined that I've be using Marion location more instead of the Edgewood like the pick up crew is so clueless to what is even going on. I love the new setup you guys got but you need to do soooo much better service wise I'd give you gives a solid 3/10 now sucks to see such a great service go downhill so fast.

I went grocery shopping at Edgewood Rd Hy-Vee and found everything I was looking for. I bought a lot of fresh fruits and veggies as well as a fair amount of other foods. I walked up to the meat counter and was greeted by a friendly staff member who helped me pick out the meat I was looking for. I even walked into their Wine & Spirits department and was delightfully surprised at their amazing selection of craft beers. My whole experience at the Edgewood Rd Hy-Vee was great! Definitely plan to return to get more groceries in the future. They definitely seemed to have everything I needed.
