Christy? Or Kristy? Idk how to spell it, I felt awkward asking how to spell it after asking for her name in the first place.. anyway!
Christy in the pharmacy did a phenomenal job with me. I spoke to her for approximately 5 minutes, and she was very patient, kind, caring and knowledgeable. I feel she deserves recognition, if not a promotion!

The culture has changed and not for the better. The staff won't check out my groceries, but will sure hover in my personal space and watch me do the work. The whole time, the self checkout will keep screaming "HAVE YOU SCANNED YOUR HYVEE PERKS CARD YET" and "PLACE YOUR ITEMS IN THE BAGGING AREA" when they are already in the bag. It then screeches out "PLEASE WAIT FOR ASSISTANCE" and I think oh well great the staff member is standing inches behind me, but when I turn around there is not an employee in sight. I scan the distance and finally see two employees standing around laughing and talking. They see the blinking light above my register, roll their eyes, and take the next minute to complete their conversation before one of them moseys over. They scan their badge and enter what seems like 12-16 numbers, and then they say, "There ya go."

Always close parking, small store so everything is easily accessible and quick to find your items. Their floral/garden center is great during in season. Annuals, perennials, vegetables, hanging baskets.

I luv Hy vee drug store and missing the one they had in Marion before the Derecho ? But this Hy vee drug store is still alive and kicking. Along with great helpful staff. They have a lot of items the big store carries just in a scaled down version so if u need something quick your not having to go into the BIG store and you can just get and go. Luv that I found this one
