Check your receipt before you leave. In my experience, this Hy-Vee has a higher incidence of over charges.

I went to the bakery and almost all of their stuff in the refridgerated cake area was expired, and I'm not talking about just a handful of things, it was seriously 20+ items. Told an employee and they really didn't seem that concerned about it. They should really be more careful, a lot of people dont check dates on items and could get sick, or at the very least, disappointed they spent $30+ on cake that's been sitting there for who knows how long! Gross!!

I got a two entree meal deal at Hyvee on July 15th. Jackson at the Hy-Chi station was very helpful, polite and welcoming. Asked me if I needed any help while looking at the menu. $9.99 with two entree, choice of rice and an appetiser was a good deal. Props to Jackson again!!!

I am so sorrybyo say but the bakery department at the Edgewood Hy Vee has gone to heck in a hand basket! Since Hy Vee did away with their regional bakery, having each store do their own baking, problems have arisen. At least at this store the quality, size, and presentation has taken a hit. My favotites; cream cakes and danish don't even look the same. The cream cakes have clearly shrunk! The danish changes from day to day. Just no consistently. What a bummer!
