My fiancé called about helping get my truck thats stuck in snow. Someone was very rude, called us stupid because diesel trucks don't work well in this weather and they're not coming and hung up. A simple no would have sufficed.This is my first winter with a truck and thought I would call around. Never using this towing company if they cant even give a simple and cordial no to a simple question. I should also add that I saw the tow ban was lifted in Cedar Rapids but I have no idea if that was what the rude response was for.

I had to get ahold of them for a jumpstart on my car. They came within 10 minutes of receiving my job. When they called about arrival, I was in shock they made it so quickly! The service was extremely quick, easy, and the men were so helpful; giving me ideas on some steps I should take with my car to get it checked out! BEST TOWING SERVICE!!Service: Battery service

Best best guy in town, Jesse, the driver down home people, the owner, JD downtown people they're not about like doras trying to take every dive you have. They're about making sure you get home and their family to us. Because they towall our vehicles.

Would give zero stars if an option. Waited an hour. Called then he called back. Said he can't take my payment. EFS check. Then hangs up on me. Not everyone works on cash people. Especially in a business that requires thousands of dollars to transfer hands on a single load.

Punctured our gas tank on the highway in riverside. Tow companies in Iowa city wouldn't come because it was out of their area! Yet these guys came from Cedar Rapids quickly, were polite, and got my car home! I appreciate the service and I will call them first next time.Service: Long distance hauling

I woke the gentleman who came to my rescue from a very peaceful, warm slumber. He was very polite and pleasant despite this. Arrived within the time frame quoted. Prior to towing me home he asked again what the problem was and was able to give me a jump start that got me on my way and saved me $50. He shared the model information for the booster pack with me and recommended I purchase one as it would be cheaper if I found myself in a similar situation. Really appreciate him and will definitely recommended them and use them again should need arise.

Driver did a good job towing the car on a Sunday morning so I say 5 stars out of 5 stars on that but I forgot to get a receipt for my insurance company and mailed them a self addressed stamp envelope asking for a receipt with full details, name, addresses, times, vehicle info. I never got anything. A driver on the phone 5 days later answered the phone An unknown driver I got on the phone 5 days later on a Friday afternoon was of Zero help actually a bit rude but with a speech impediment or speech problem so I can see his situation. A month later so I used my Credit Card copy to prove to my insurance company I paid so no problem. I used my Credit Card bill as proof with insurance co.Service: Special vehicle towing

I had notified my insurance carrier to tow my vehicle.JD's towed the vehicle to my mechanic on Sat afternoon. On Monday morning my mechanic had told me the drivers side window was down. It had rained and snowed that weekend and car was full of snow. I contacted JD's and talked to the manager. He denied the window being down and said he had picture of it being up, when asked to see the picture he said he couldn't show it to me. He then told me he would call me back. Never heard from him again, even when I called and left several messages with those who answered the phone.
