Kids First Law Center is dedicated to giving children a voice in divorce, custody, and other conflicts by providing focused legal representation and services for kids. Their main goals are to create stability for children, reduce the impact of conflict, connect families to support systems and resources, and ensure children’s voices are heard. The center emphasizes conflict-resolution and changing behavior patterns to foster more positive relationships for children. In addition to legal services, Kids First has developed an excellent restorative justice program for middle schools. This program offers students a safe space to express their feelings and concerns, helping to build better relationships between students and staff. The restorative circle process has been praised for improving behavior and relationships, with many noting significant positive changes. Staff and teachers value the support from Kids First representatives, especially Mr. John, who consistently helps resolve conflicts and supports everyone in the school community. The organization’s compassionate and fair mediation creates a safe environment for staff and students to work through issues and find positive outcomes, making Kids First Law Center an essential part of the schools they serve.
Kids First has given us the gift of repair and reconciliation. Ms. Judy uses her incredible skills to create space for students, teachers and staff to work through conflict and come out the other side with more skills and confidence to move forward. Her circles have been transforming for our building.

Kids first Law center has created an excellent restorative justice program for our middle school. Students are given a safe space to express their feelings and concerns they have with other students and our staff members. This has helped immensely in forming relationships between students to students and students to teachers!

Kids First is essential to our middle school building! Mr. John is amazing and someone we can always count on to support EVERYONE. Countless conflicts and concerns have been resolved by Mr. John and the work he does with Kids First.
