My child went to this daycare and was picked on nonstop by a specific child named Leo. They treated my child as if he was bad for being bullied. I later came to find out after the director tried to blame my son for hurting another child and after watching the video it was in fact the other little boy who hurt this child and they blamed my son making him feel awful. Turns out the child that is the bully and is KNOWN to bully other kids is the directors son. When I asked to speak to the owner I got a letter saying my child was kicked out of the school and signed with "the owners" name. The lady that signed it was NOT the owner she was the directors mother! And the bullies grandmother! They teamed up against my 3 year old child. After speaking to dhs they confirmed she WAS NOT the owner. I ran into one of his teachers a few months after and she CONFIRMED that The director didn't remove her son away from mine and that she purposely punished my three year old son. Her son was older than mine I'm still not sure why he was allowed to run around to whatever class he wanted. I'll also mention the "teacher" that said my child hurt another child was either the directors sister or niece. Be careful taking your children here. They also have friends and family write these reviews.

This is an absolute top notch daycare. A culture of care, learning and inclusion seems to be instilled with all teachers, employees and children. Truly a service to the Cedar Rapids community!

My son has been in the Kids Kampus Krusader's room most of his elementary years. We're very sad that this is is last year there. This center made us feel like we were family and they always keep the kids busy with activities. Every time I walk in to pick him up he's either playing a board game with kids/staff or doing some sort of activity. They always have plans and themes especially during the summer to keep kids busy. Not to mention they always make the most creative gifts and crafts to send home. This center has been a life saver as we previously had a poor experience at another center. Nicole and Aubrey are wonderful and have made a huge impact on my sons childhood. We're very thankful to have found Kids Kampus!

as far as daycares go this one should be shut down. The director is by far the worst I've ever encountered and after a few short months I took my kids out of this daycare. they lie to parents and cover things up. they have no structure and talk To the children very poorly. please go anywhere but here.

As a parent of two children who attend and former Preschool teacher for Kid’s Kampus, I can say only positive things about this child care facility. The staff are very well trained, attentive and loving. The directors are there because they want to maintain a wonderful place for your children to be a part of. Every day is fun filled and I am blessed to have found this place when we moved back to Cedar Rapids.

The teachers here get 5 stars. The office gets 1, I averaged it out. It's a fantastic preschool unless you have to work for a living. Office staff is only available in the middle of the day when people are at work, so if you have a billing question you won't hear anything about it until you're already three days late and have accrued late fees. They also schedule important events for parents to attend in the middle of the day. For mother's day I had to choose between using my PTO--which I would need if I were to get sick--and disappointing my child.

A Fathers Perspective... We currently have a child in the 2s room, and could never imagine going anywhere else. Things that truly attracted us were all the friendly faces from the top all the way down the line to part time helpers. Everyone seems happy to be there and embrace the opportunity they get with every single child.Coming from an "in home" infant care and jumping to a "daycare facility" is a monster change. We had so many questions, fears, hesitations, and lets not forget stressful. So, here are a few reasons why they are such a great fit for OUR family.Active learning... The kids are always on the move with play, reading, crafts, music and not so regimented on every minute. The children decide the flow of the day. Love this!Ratios... The teacher(s)-child ratio is set up so your child always has attention, and supervision. Boo-boos are handle with TLC every time.Cleanliness... There are kids creating havoc all over the place and it never feels un-kept, dirty, or unsafe. KKLC does a very good job staying on top of daily cleanliness, and over appearance.Coaching... This is for the parents! If there's a game, activity, song or routine new in your child's life and not sure whats it all about, all you have to do is ask. They are quick to jump in and teach you all the cool new things they are learning.Open door/phone... Curious how the day is going, swing by and hang out. Not enough time for that, call and talk directly to a teacher in your room. We called 3-5 times a day for the first couple weeks LOL!We just had our 1st Christmas concert with the KKLC and that basically solidified for us how great all their team is.Thanks for reading... Hope any of this helps!
