Awful Credit Union! Currently have a car financed with them. Never missed or been late on a car payment in my life. Worked a trade deal and they turned it down stating my unsecured loan amount has increased by 4%. Well, my salary increased by more than that. So much for being a current customer, that means nothing to them. 100% don't recommend.

This is the most worst bank I ever dealed with. I absolutely hate their website and thier app. It is not the most user friendly I ever used to pay my bills. I will be leaving this bank for my loan to a different bank where it's more user friendly. I do not recommend this place at all. They will also not assist you very good. Very poor customer service.

I recently needed help understanding my accounts and how to use the mobile app. I was basically clueless, because until my wife passed she had done all of our financials. Since that happened I needed assistance. I had been communicating with Anna, who by the way I had already expressed how supportive she had been.
Since Anna was unavailable(transfer) I turned to Jon and Leslie, who I am assuming might be at least 40 years or more younger than me. There was no eye rolling, no impatience with me because of my age and my mediocre tech skills. I was greeted with understanding and enthusiasm to help me, which they did. They were able to explain to me what I could do and in terms I could understand. They were extremely helpful, but just as important, very friendly. I thanked them both, and left feeling that I had the knowledge to help myself, but also knowing I could call on them, if needed.

Top notch service, love the card manager app and online banking. When I had fraud suspected on my debit card, Jessica gave clear direction, issued me a new card on the spot, and told me what would happen to resolve it.

Terribly disappointed in the handling of the change over to the new branding of Corda. I have been a member for 30 plus years and I have used the bill pay system for as long as it has been available. This change over has brought with it a bill pay system nightmare. It is not user friendly and places way too much of a burdon on the customers who use it. It has not only cost me my time in reentering all of the bill payment info, but also money in bank charges because the program is not clearly laid out nor user friendly. I have called in the past, but frankly, am tired of the hassles.

I've been on hold for 30min so I gave up and put my number in to get a call back they say you won't lose your place in line it's been 2hrs since I called nobody called me yet so I called again and on hold again 20min and counting still nobody (linn area/corda on blairsferry cedar rapids) it's not just today it's everytime I make a payment there

This pains me to write because i have been a long time member. (At least 12+ years) But they have terrible customer service. I mobile deposited a check but i guess they had some problems reading the account number. Instead of calling me they mail me a letter and it takes 5 days to get to me.. iv already shredded the check and its going to be a pain to get a new one issued. This is just pure laziness on their end. There is no reason not to call the customer. I held on to the check for 3 days like you should then i shredded it. If they would have called me when they found out they couldnt read the account number i would have still had the check and i could have brought it in.Will definitely be looking into moving my accounts.

We've been with LACU for 32 years and they are the absolute best!! As we are in the process of moving out of state, we plan to stay banking with LACU. If you check out what's out there for credit union's like we have done, you'll come to appreciate LACU all the more. You won't find a better place!! : ) Thank you LACU ... we are lifers!
