A proud native of Cedar Rapids, IA and father to two amazing boys, Lovar Davis Kidd, known by L.D., is a poet, author, dance educator, musician, fashion activist, and recent graduate from the University of Iowa's Dance Department where he received his Master of Fine Arts. His passions revolve around fostering community through movement in all its forms. With a deep understanding of the human body acquired through years of practicing massage therapy, yoga, and his background as a professional dancer, L.D. creates the perfect environment for students and clients to experience growth and transformation. He firmly believes in the power of Yoga & Massage Therapy to elevate ones entire being, helping students rediscover their true self.
With a focus on individual expression, LD captures the essence of the yogi experience, guiding students through a personalized practice enriched by actionable insights, and elevating the practice to new heights.
