Wrong item and TERRIBLE customer service:
I ordered a refrigerator online last week with a delivery scheduled for Sunday, so I had to clear my schedule for the day (fine, that's how it works). When the delivery came they took my old refrigerator out (haul away like I paid for... The delivery guy was great) and brought in the new unit. It quickly became clear that it was the wrong unit. It was the wrong brand, the wrong size, etc.
The delivery guy put me in contact with a customer service rep to schedule an exchange, and I made it clear when I would and would not be available for the exchange. Today I got the notification of the delivery window and the entire thing is while I will be at work.
I called and spoke to 4 different people just trying to push back the delivery window to when I will be available (anytime after 4pm, not too much to ask), and nobody was willing to do anything about it. Delivery department said it was the warehouse's mistake, the warehouse said they can't change the delivery schedule and can't do anything to help me out, etc.
Keep in mind this is ALL to allow them to fix THEIR OWN MISTAKE, and they expect me to clear my schedule and take the day off work, not to mention the hassle of putting all my food in coolers for the second time in 3 days. Nobody in this process (except the actual delivery guy) seemed to actually care about customer service, and I do not plan on making any more significant purchases from Lowes. Zero stars if I could.

Lowe’s has good selection when it comes to products for home improvement, but me and my wife will never go back.
It all started when my wife and I wanted to get new flooring because our current flooring was dated. So we shopped around and finally found Pergo laminate that we both loved. I knew nothing about installing flooring like this, so naturally I had Lowe’s set up a day to come and install it. The day comes around and the two men come into our home and do the job (I worked close to home at the time and would pop in now and then just to check on things). Everything looked good up until the finishing touches when they put quarter round ON TOP OF OUR EXISTING BASEBOARD TRIM. Not only did they ruin our existing floor trim with nails and holes, they put random colored quarter round around the perimeter of the entire job. Around this time we had complications with our twin boys who were born at 28 weeks. We hated the way the quarter round looked but we had much more important things to worry about.
Earlier this year after things started to calm down (Our boys are doing fine) we talked to someone in the flooring department about the quarter round. They looked at the pictures and agreed that it looked terrible! So we had a plan to replace the floor trim with thicker base boards (because they ruined the old trim) at Lowe’s expense. The first installation guy that came out (who was supposed to just do an estimate) replaced one small section of quarter round! He also used my miter saw in my garage WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! They called me later and asked if I was satisfied! I told them that there must have been some sort of miscommunication because he was supposed to just assess how much baseboard trim they would need. They apologized and after THREE MORE TIMES including one time the company said they came out and assessed when they clearly did not because I was home all day! Finally after back and forth they eventually had someone come out to do the job. When the installation guy came, it was very hard to communicate with him because he did not speak any English. He did not know what we wanted so I had to try to use my phone to talk to him. I had an appointment so I left him to work. He put the baseboards on and left. When I came back to our home he put baseboard trim in our living room and DOOR TRIM WHERE THE BASEBOARDS SHOULD BE IN OUR KITCHEN. So two different sizes and patterns in both rooms. (Not to mention that there is still gaps that you can see near the baseboards because they installed the laminate with huge gaps because they put quarter round to cover the huge gaps up).
We are so unhappy with how the floor was originally installed and have been going back and forth with Lowe’s and the installation company they use for quite some time now. My wife spoke to the Manager of the store who told her he would get to the bottom of it. He then completely ignored her. SHE HAD TO CALL HIM. All he said is that they would put quarter round back on to cover the gaps. Unbelievable. Terrible service. No communication. 0/5 stars will be shopping at Home Depot from now on.
*Just a quick update on this situation. I called the number that they gave me on this review only to be given the "You need to call ___ and talk to them" run around AGAIN.

I ordered a GE refrigerator on Lowe’s.com. Had to purchase a 1/4-inch compression kit to get the “free installation”. Get an email with delivery date but then the night before, get a 4-hour window for delivery. Lowe’s uses XDT third party company for their delivery and installs. The two guys who delivered my refrigerator said I would have to relive my door for delivery since they aren’t allowed to. They went through my rear patio doors for easier access. They they told me they could not install my refrigerator since they are not allowed to connect to plastic tubing. My old refrigerator was the same as the new with a braided line from the refrigerator connecting to a brass shut off switch which is them connected to the plastic water line. My new braided 1/4 inch line that I needed to buy for the “free installation” would make the connections on the new refrigerator the same as the old. They wouldn’t complete the “free installation” and told me I would need a connector so I could complete the install. (I completed my own install and never need such connector they said I needed). The two delivery guys brought in my new refrigerator and placed on my kitchen floor for me to install myself. After shutting off the water to the water line, the delivery guys took my my old refrigerator but only after telling me I would need to reschedule for someone to come back out and get the old refrigerator since I was going to be needing to disconnect and get ready for pick up. I got it ready before they left and they took old refrigerator out the back door. The delivery guys did not clean up mess completely leaving several pieces of plastic from new refrigerator on my kitchen floor. Also, they didn’t remove tape or packing material from the inside of my new refrigerator. I called Lowe’s to complain and was referred to XDT third party delivery company. Upon speaking to the female who answered at XDT, she explained “free deliveries” were a “courtesy” and not all “free deliveries” were completed. I was told my complaint would be forwarded to the delivery guys for their information and they may be “coached”. I called Lowe’s back and spoke with a manager. I was told nothing could be done even after being told of my issues with the delivery company and delivery guys and having to purchase a 1/4 inch compression kit for a “free delivery” but not get any kind of installation. I mentioned how I got what I paid for…free installation = no installation. I also mentioned what would have happened if I was unable to do my own installation because of a medical condition or age. Still the manager said he was not able to help. I told the manager I would not be dealing with a Lowe’s ever again.

Ordered a couple appliances, a woman in that department helped us (i can't remember her name, Angie maybe?) So very helpful and made sure they were held until we needed. When we came to pick up our items, Ray made the pick up so easy, and was also very nice. Thank you for the exceptional service and ease of purchase!

Rande was very helpful yesterday getting us the right over the range microwave. We did have to exchange it due to front dent but that went fine. We really like the lighting the new microwave has. It works great!

First and last time buying a major appliance from them. Will never shop there again, nor recommend to anyone. Costco is the way to go.
