Moss is such a beautiful plant store with so many options, both for yourself or for gifts. I love the variety of plants, as well as the other items they sell, like jewelry, cards, candles, and handmade soaps. The plants are always so well taken care of and in pristine condition. The staff are very friendly and helpful, being there to answer questions or give suggestions as needed. I just bought a bunch of seeds to plant from here and I am very excited to use them! I have been going here for the past 10 years and will be back to shop again soon.

I no longer live in CR, but make a point to visit Moss whenever I’m back. Ann and team are the kindest, most generous people. My plants, pots, and so much more I’ve procured over the years are of the highest quality and still look fabulous to this day. Must stop shop.

What you’re going to want to do is set up an ACH account with Moss because there will always be a plant that you need to justify coming home with you. Even if you’re not a plant obsessed plant mom like me you may find yourself loving the vibe alone while you find solace in the large beautiful moss wall and come home with one the best smelling candles burning in the shop that you can’t leave without. The thoughtful variety of plant textures (and must gets for those who seek out unique plants), the beautiful array of pots you’ll have forever and the other gifts make this shop a must-visit place in Cedar Rapids to treat yourself and for gift giving all year round.

I love supporting local shops and Moss is darling! Unique succulents and plants, beautiful books and more. Great for gifts and also treating yourself. Located in Czech Village, after shopping grab a beer at Lion Bridge or old fashioned ice cream at Sweet Merchantile! ?

Moss was a welcoming and beautiful experience. My partner and I stumbled in by chance, and this shop ended up as one of our favorite stops on our trip. Employees were helpful and kind. All the plants were well cared for, and the variety was terrific. We will be returning anytime we pass through Cedar Rapids! Thank you, Moss!
