As I was driving down 6th St, my car told me I was losing air fast in one of my tires. I pulled into Pomps 15 mins before they closed. Hunter came and looked at my tire and put my spare on. They don't even do regular car tires there, they do semi tires. I appreciated him helping me out. I was able to drive to the other Pomps tire and get a replacement tire. Everything was like new the next day. They were so great!

They had a good service couple years ago with previous shop managers and employees. I've spent thousands there purchasing and installing semi truck tires.Stopped by a week ago to mount two new steer tires and told them taking my used steers with me.
Employee has set dismounted steers by my trailer without notifying me that he damaged one of them. I've noticed that tire is damaged when tried to load it.
It's expensive Bridgestone steer tire that had 60% tread on it and could be used as a trailer tire. They have refused to take responsibility for ruining it.
Manager at Cedar Rapids 6th St location was very rude and told me it's not their fault and someone else has damaged my tire.
Seriously? I don't know any tire shop that would mount damaged steer tire.
Very unprofessional employees and current manager should not be in a management position

Was trying to change my tire on my jeep that had blown out on the highway. Got pulled into the BP off 380 and Hunter was there getting gas and lunch. Asked if he could help because we were struggling. Hunter was so awesome and helped us change it because we were struggling. Could not have asked for a better experience! Hunter is the go-to guy!

Pomp's always does there best to get my guys on the road quickly and doesn't charge a arm and a leg for rep[airs or services call as I found in my experience .........5 Stars

Got tires ordered fast. They went ahead with an alignment that cost me $100 that was not professional because . . . Taking off the tires they seen how I needed new struts. Getting an alignment after repairing stuts is the way its done not the other way around. They did not call me to tell me this before doing the alignment. Now I will have to pay for another alignment. How unprofessional. Does anyone know of some good tire place in town besides Pomps or Five Season? That will not lie or withold information like this?

Blew out two tires on our RV coming home. Pomp’s came out on a Sunday afternoon and fixed it on the highway. Great service!
