Hands down one of the best, experiences I’ve have had taking a vehicle anywhere! I called ahead with some concerns I had about my Box truck. I explained that I had just got it back from another shop and that I didn’t feel like my concerns had been addressed and what I needed was an honest inspection. He explained that not only did they do that, but they would photograph the inspection as well to prevent any confusion. If you’re willing to take this extra step for the customer that’s a bonus to me. After getting my full inspection back I indeed had some issues and my concerns were real and now I have to question any and all work done by the previous shop. After going over everything, we established a list to check off over time. Let’s be honest owning a vehicle requires maintenance over time and as a customer you want an honest experience and honest work for the hard earned money you spend. I definitely didn’t have to question any and all work done at Ramsey Repair the proof is in the photos.

The team at Ramsey repair was great to work with. We took in a new to us Diesel truck to have it inspected before purchasing. The inspection was very thorough and easy to comprehend. When we came to pick up the truck they took a good 20min to not only talk to me about the truck but what to expect as a new diesel owner. I would recommend them to anyone looking for great service.

Colten expertise and hometown work ethic really showed off this past weekend when my daughter and her bf had car trouble and needed to be on the road for a five hour drive home. He correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He also found the radiator was leaking and installed a new radiator. Colten is the best around. We need more mechanics like him!

I recently bought a used truck from a out of town dealership, with low mileage and the promises of all the work done recently to it. I went to Ramsey for a vehicle inspection, and I was shocked about all the brake issues. Thankfully they kept in touch with me, and explaining thoroughly what needed fixed right away and what could wait. These guys will be my go to guys for any work done on my truck. Reasonable price and great customer service.👍 Kudos! 😁

Had a ring and pinion swap in my Colorado and the attention to detail and effort that was put into the work was above and beyond. They directly contacted the manufacturer of the new gears to ensure all specs and fitment were correct. Even performed the break in period for me and rechecked all specs afterward! Their work performed report was outstanding with before and after photos and videos. They are great to work with I would recommend them to anybody!

Colton and crew at Ramsey are some of the most honest repair companies in Cedar Rapids. He could have charged me over $5,000 for a new turbo for my truck and I was prepared to pay it. But, being honest and professional, he charged me less than $200 to fix it. He also gave me a military discount. I’d highly recommend Ramsey Auto Repair for your auto and truck repair needs.

I would recommend Ramsey repair to anyone. They went above and beyond. Their inspection is process is flawless, the take pics of the problem areas. So if your cv shaft has a ripped boot they include pics. So the element of trust is never in question. Which I appreciate considering the times we live in. I won't waste my time with another shop.
