Is there such a thing as too helpful? Yes! Please stop loudly asking me if you can help me find anything every 5 min or less after I've politely declined the offer every time. FFS. As a woman I enjoy LOOKING before I buy, don't suck the enjoyment out of my process by taking me straight to what I need. Trust me, I buy more if you just let me look for goodness sake. Offering once is good business, offering 3+ times (and LOUDLY from across the store) is not.

I had a couple of very nice employees help me out with cutting a replacement piece of glass right before closing time. It was a smaller piece that was cut from some scraps that they had, so Skylar kindly charged me for a partial size. I went home to install the replacement glass and realized that it was accidentally cut an inch too short. I hurried back to the store, but it happened to be just after closing time. Skylar saw me at the door with the glass in hand, came and opened it up and asked if there was something wrong with the glass. I let him know the error and he made time, after hours, in the middle of closing, to cut a replacement piece at no charge, and did it all with a smile. It was truly excellent service and we’d all be a whole lot better off if there were more Skylars in the world. The whole team of employees were great. They made a return customer out of me.

We have lived near this store for over 20 years, and have always had great service. The current owner is even better than the prior one. I have had numerous projects where I have gone for parts and advice (as I am NOT a handyman nor have much experience). The staff has given great advice, helped me select the right products, and even allowed returns when it wasn't the correct thing (though to their credit that has been very rare). The most recent help was yesterday when a PVC connection broke while I was self-installing a new garbage disposal. They helped me figure out how to replace a somewhat complicated series of connections. I highly recommend this place and will continue to frequent it for all of my home projects!

Great service and quality selections. They stand behind their products. I have also had them do window glass repairs and re-wiring of lamps. I am glad to have them conveniently located to my neighborhood.

Store has very little stock and unhelpful employees. I have been to larger convenience stores. Eventually this place will close - it’s not a modern store.
