I've been a customer for 11 years and now I'm questioning about leaving Wells Fargo. I went to the ATM machines minutes before closing time. The machine was acting up and it did not read one of my bills, so I quickly went around the entrance to see if someone could help me. I know it was after hours, but I saw some employees standing inside. The first thing the gentleman said was "heyyyyy we're closed!" The tone of his voice was HORRIBLE. The impression I got was he wanted to go home and didn't care whatsoever. I explained my situation and he said to call on the back of the card and he's only here because someone is finishing up with a Teller. I understand if that's the only solution, but the way he said it was uncalled for. I've worked in the customer service world for 10+ years and that's not how you treat a customer! I 1,000% agree with the other reviews. Your management team should rethink your employees because I DO NOT want to come back at this location. I REALLY hope you read this and I would love to speak with you!

This is a good example of why Wells Fargo is failing this place here has zero customer service zero sympathy zero empathy and these people here have not a care in the world about the customer just themselves..... has anybody really read the reviews here they're horrifying it's a horrible place I think ownership should take a read of some of these notes in in here the worst ratings are the highest level

Deceptive, anti- customer, unreasonable, underhanded.
I can think of many other words to describe them and is why I removed all my money, direct deposits, and closed my account.
They entice you with promises of cash bonus of hundreds to open a checking.
After going to all the work of switching direct deposits and managing the account o never got the bonus.
I finally called and asked and they said ‘didn’t meet criteria’.
I had to push to get straight answer. Finally I didn’t my last deposit had missed the deadline by a few hours.
Really!?!!!! ?? A few hours
The deposit needs to be the day before but it game in at night and this time didn’t show til the next business day.
For 3 months did a banker ever follow up and say ‘ hey you need a bit more to meet the qualifications? Nope. When I sat at the bankers office and created a plan to get the bonus. It was fine
And really. I’ve made the deposits exactly as requested for 3 months include a really large one.
Even after escalating twice. Did they help? Nope. Like talking to a wall.
Of this stubborn, unreasonable way they handle such a simple thing that should have just been (oh we see the deposit came in and we will give you the reward) nope. It’s a wall of them finding a loophole to avoid paying the reward
I spotted in to a branch and closed accounts. Banker was very nice - but offered no solutions.
Never again. Done with Wells Fargo, no longer using my credit card or any services.

No drive thru due to "fraud" at 1st Ave location (this ia what I was told by teller). However Marion and 42nd St location does provide drive thru. Apparently, fraudsters don't know to frequent those locations.

Wells Fargo is the worst bank ever! They stole my deposit, and they never give my money back. My advise with anyone who bank with Wells Fargo is check your account everyday if your are banking with them. They are big thief.

My sister and I went into the bank and deposited $12,000.00 in the account, and well Fargo put the money into their own account. They claimed that they can’t find the money we deposited anywhere, the money disappeared into thin air. They stole our hard earned money, only God will fight this battle for us. We leave y’all with God, one day y’all own mess will catch up with y’all.

I went into this location to open up an account. The teller that greeted me (Chris) was very friendly. Melissa was very helpful in getting my account set up. I went in there right when they opened and was out of there within 45 minutes. I would suggest setting up an appointment beforehand just to make sure they have someone available that can help you open an account right when you get there. Great experience!

Only negative I had in all of the years using them is that they no longer issue temporary cards while you.wait for your new one, after you file a claim

This place does not want you to come in off the street and open accounts. Don’t let them waste your time, open your account online if you need one. I went in twice and they acted like they didn’t know what they were doing.

Went to bank on 42nd st. Cedar Rapids IA this morning to make a deposit of cash. Teller would not take my deposit because I forgot my wallet at the house so I had no ID with me gave her my account number, said she could not deposit because I had no ID, I took my money back and went to my credit union & made a deposit no problem. What's with a bank not taking a deposit. If I was trying to take money out of the bank I could understand. Banked at Wells Fargo for over 25 years, it's time to say goodbye to this bank
