Strip-till is a conservation tillage practice that increases yield, reduces carbon emissions, minimizes soil erosion and nutrient runoff. LYNX strip till equipment builds an eight-inch to ten-inch strip of soil every twenty-inches to thirty-inches across the field profile. These strips are four-inches to eight-inches deep. Fertilizer is injected in a band at the bottom of the strip to enhance nutrient stability and efficiency while also providing a yield increase over no-till and conventional tillage practices. Strip till also reduces the number of passes across the field compared to conventional tillage thus increasing the efficiency of your farm's workforce.
