La Tienda Mexicana in Clarion, Iowa, is a casual and authentic Mexican restaurant and store. The food is excellent, fresh, and not from a can, with amazing steak tacos, good tortas, and excellent red and green salsas. The green salsa is noted as the best. It is a very casual setup with very little seating, so most take it to go. The restaurant is clean with lots of room for seating and offers easy wheelchair access. The staff is friendly, pleasant, and provides great service. The store also has a good assortment of Hispanic products. It is a great spot with great food that is worth it, and you will not be disappointed.
